It‘s a beer bar, don‘t expect haute cuisine

I went to the bar for a couple of beers. They have really a extraordinary choice of cocktails (and beers) on their beverages menu. I had some fries as well, which weren’t quite a blast. All in all I liked it, because a band was playing and I met some nice people. I wouldn’t go there for dinner, but it’s great to hang out and have a few drinks.

How did I end up here, you may ask. Well, I was very hungry and all of a sudden it started pouring rain. In that moment I took a bet on Rodeo and I regret it.

The place faintly smelled like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a while, so I decided to sit down on the 1st floor right besides the window with ocean view. I didn’t want to look at the menu because the wafts coming off it were far too strong. So I asked the waiter what vegan option were and he replied the vegan doner kebab was bad but the vegan burger nice. So I ordered the burger but they didn’t have it. Ordered the dahl (?) curry with paratha instead, never had such bad paratha. Service was very friendly though.

Quite good bar, mostly western guests , prices are ok for the touristic area

Best Vegan/Vegetarian in town!

Never knew vegan & vegetarian food could be this good! The Vegan Burger is the BEST!!

Pros: Excellent Food, Friendly Staff, Busy Spot in Negombo
