Great Vietnamese food - Edit
I had the fried rolls as entree and the Vietnamese salad for main. The rolls had great pastry, filling and sauce. The salad ingredients were fresh and full of flavour.

Excellent restaurant for a group dinner - Edit
I had a great experience at this quite busy restaurant tonight with a mixed group of colleagues: one vegan (me), one vegetarian and one with a serious peanut allergy and three omnivores. We started with the vegan sharing platter for six, which was very good and with large portions, and had different vegan wines during the night. The wines were quite good and brought the conversation on veganism, and why ordinary wines are not vegan. The main dishes were large, tastefully and some even spectaculary presented and all were of very good quality. This restaurant has very well laid out menus, with clear symbols for vegan, vegetarian, nut free, gluten free etc and lots of choice for vegans (and special diets). The decorations in the restaurant, especially the colourfull eastern paper lamps, were beautiful and the service was very thoughtful and fast. Highly recommended!

Lots of vegan options - Edit
So many vegan options at Rock Yard - all really tasty and good sized potions. I also liked the decor with colourful paper lanterns filling the ceiling and a choice of levels and dining areas. We went on a Wednesday night and were able to find a level with no other diners which mean we could actually have a conversation and hear each other talk without loud music and other voices. That's rare in Wellington at similar types of establishments.

Central location. There is street parking and a lot of it but it is hard to find a park as this is a popular area. We circled for a bit before finding a park right outside.
Pros: many vegan options, not noisy , lovely staff
