Limited but Very Good - Edit
Not much of a menu for vegans but the Plantain rice dish is tasty.

Vegan plantain dish - Edit
Great location and they offer a banana leaf plantain dish which I found is not listed on their online menu but if you call to order, they’re happy to make it for you.

Two vegan options banana leaf rice and beans or pasta. Had the banana leaf. It was bland and greasy.

Okay and one of few in the area - Edit
Banana leaf dish was actually quite okay. The pasta was really bland and it soaked in the boiling water I assume. Not good. But the vegan dishes are from the diet menu so the salt shaker come in handy.

Good but disappointed - Edit
I loved that this restaurant had the blue zone menu and that’s why we went. However, our meals did not look

Pros: Blue zone menus, All outside seating
Cons: River water smells a bit fishy

Thanks Tin City! - Edit
It was tough finding some vegan eats in this area so I’m glad we found this place. The food was filling and I loved their sweet plantains!

Mediocre - Edit
My waitress was extremely knowledgeable on vegan food since she was vegetarian for many years. She confirmed that the key west banana leaf and the root dish was vegan.
Read moreHowever she said the southern root dish was a mess and recommended the banana leaf one over it. The meal was not bad, but wasn’t great either. It’s an okay option if you’re not picky and don’t mind a lack of flavor. It was cooked well but wasn’t hot and didn’t “wow”me. I added avocado to the meal for more substance and had a side of fries. It’s a good option if you’re going with omnivores, but otherwise wouldn’t really recommend. Many other better options in the area
Pros: Nice atmosphere , Knowledgeable staff , A few options
Cons: Lacked flavor , Food was not hot

Yes a vegan menu on the back page! I had the Key West with Banana Leaf. Yum! - Edit
Good service and nice open air seating. Fun to watch the boats and private jets coming in. Food was tasty and wasn’t loaded with sodium. Nice cocktails too

Blue Zones approved plant-based menu - Edit
Their Blue Zones approved plant-based menu is found on the back page of their regular menu and their entrees taste fantastic! I had their "Southern Roots" entree today which has white beans, corn, okra, baby sweet potatoes, and grape tomatoes in a vegan arugula & red pepper sauce. And it came with big crispy corn tortillas. It tasted so good! And I had the waitress verify with the chef that it was vegan. There's also a nice waterview there and they offer some tropical cocktails too. Also, back in Feb. 2018 I taste their "Key West Banana Leaf" entree and it was delicious too. I'm so glad they worked with the "Blue Zones-Southwest Florida project" to add plant-based offerings on a Blue Zones approved menu and earned the Blue Zones approved designation in feb. 2016. I recommend trying their wonderful plant-based entrees.

not vegan friendly - Edit
They actually don't have vegan options, or possibly even vegetarian. Nothing was marked vegan. The host thought vegetarian things were cooked in chicken broth. Don't go out of your way to go here.

Your statements are incorrect. Their "Blue Zones" approved plant-based menu is on the back page of their regular menu. So you must have not looked on the back page and you must have talked to a host who was not fully knowledgeable about their offerings. Also, their Blue Zones menu has always been posted on their website too. And I had my waitress verify with the chef that what I ate there today was vegan.
