Surprisingly many vegan menu options - Edit
The venue is very pretty, in a cultural, spiritual, artistic park located on a hill above the beautiful village of Ascona.
Read moreThe service was very friendly and courteous.
The dishes were freshly made, looked colourful and they put in a lot of different veggies. Good portion size.
We ordered one Minestrone (vegetable soup), a mixed salad with seeds and grains plus a mixed salad with Quinoa, Pumpkin, Couliflower-Tempura and Chick peas.
At the moment they have 1 vegan starter, 3 vegan salads, both soups are vegan, 1 second dish and 1 main dish are vegan. The dishes are not just trivial standards like "Fries, Risotto, Spaghetti napoli, etc.). Instead they are well planned and fit the mainly italian/mediterranean style of the menu list perfectly.
We will come back for sure :-)
Pros: many vegan options, a lot of fresh veggies, beautiful location
Cons: animal products on the menu
