Great spot for lunch in West Bay - Edit
We really enjoyed our visit to Rise. It's a cool little place, located on the River Brit, just a short walk from the coast. They're open all day, so you can visit for breakfast, lunch, dinner or anything in between. The outside space is lovely, but it is first come, first served, so arrive early to snag a good spot! There are quite a few vegan options. I went for the burger, which was the best I've had in a while. The Kerelan curry also sounded really nice. Definitely recommended.

Tasty vegan food by the sea - Edit
Options sounded better than they tasted, not sure why restaurants who serve vegan options feel the need to overload them with herbs. However staff were friendly and the place is dog friendly. Didn’t get asked if we wanted more drinks however. The food was also overpriced for what it was. Good views made it better.

Tasty food & lovely setting - Edit
Bright & airy interior overlooking the water, cosy log fires, friendly & efficient staff, tasty food. Just what we needed for lunch on a cold but sunny January day. Particularly impressed with the vegan options - the vegan sharing platter actually enough for a meal, but I followed with panko fried aubergine with cauliflower truffle purée; my wife’s fish pie was also flavoursome & an excellent helping. Watched the gulls diving for food, and looking forward to returning when the weather is warmer so we can do the same but sitting on the terrace.

Expensive but good - Edit
I had butter beans with roasted carrots; it was £12.50 so pricey but very good. A lovely view of the harbour. Would recommend booking; it was really busy when we went and I was glad we had a reservation for lunch. Pro-tip: just down the road is where the coastal trail starts. It’s a great afternoon hike with amazing views of the Jurassic coast!

Amazing and tasty vegan food 💚🌱 - Edit
We had a meal here after reading the reviews on HappyCow and we were not disappointed. It was delicious, we shared the vegan nachos to start which were delicious and filling and then OH had the vegan burger and was very impressed with the skinny fries.I had the Sunbeam bowl which was not only beautiful but so tasty as well 👍 only a sorbet for dessert so we opted for a cocktail instead 👍 also the decor was excellent as well 🙌

Good vegan options - Edit
A nice restaurant in good surroundings with good vegan options. Warning: the vegan nachos are quite filling, so work up an appetite if you want to follow these with the vegan burger, which is also quite substantial!! :)

Apparently can't give a five star rating as not fully veggie/vegan restaurant - Edit
But this place is great. Great service. Happy to meet my request to make a toasted sandwich that wasn't on the menu (vegan cheese and red onion, was amazing - get one!) Good selection of Vegan options on the menu. We also had the vegan nachos which were delicious. Great place to come with friends who aren't vegan and great to have so much vegan choice in an out the way touristy place.
