Good wings. Pizza Slices as you walk-in. What more could you ask for? - Edit
It's hard to find a good Vegan pizza joint and this one measures up very well. The selection of slices and pizzas along with their wings sauces really make a visit worth your while.

Cons: Wings could be smaller or more wing shaped., Milkshakes needed. , Parking can be hard to find.

Best pizza EVER, period. - Edit
This is the best pizza I’ve had in my life, BY FAR. They blow all other vegan pizzas out of the water. The crust, cheese, sauce, toppings, variety… everything is perfection. Not to be dramatic but if I were to die and have one last meal, I would consider this place.

Oh and the wings are probably the best I’ve had as well. Maple garlic hits the spot👌
Our fave pizzas were the Pepperoni Strikes Back and Carbonara.

The “Pepperoni Stikes Back” pizza took pepperoni and cheese to the next level. Only downfall is that it is very expensive.

I ordered take out of the nugget bucket but they gave me an old sauce that was crusty on the outside with pieces of nuggets from someone else. It’s one thing to be careless but this level of mistake seems like apathy and indifference. The sauce container visibly looked used, dirty and sauce separated. Come on guys- this is unacceptable for the high prices you charge. I am wary of ordering food from here again in the future

Just flew into Toronto from Jamaica late. Family was all hungry and we needed something. Ordered ahead for a pizza and it hit the spot. Was just what we needed after a long travel day. We fly out of Toronto often for our trips and plan to stop again.

Seitan wings are well done here, many sauce options. All the pizzas and sandwiches/wraps are a hit. I like that you can order 6" sub and get a side, rather than having to order a 12" sub.

We ordered the pepperoni and Hawaiian pizza and both were delicious. On top of that we ordered the onion rings. (everyone seems to love those.) and the Seitan wings. My partner is not vegan, but really loved the wings.. this was a really pricey spot but we will definitely be back.

Read moreWe've had the two SALADS, caesar with a choice of romaine or kale, and a sesame cabbage salad -- both delicious. We've also tried the STEELTOWN PIZZA- Housemade pepperoni, mushrooms and crumbled seitan bacon, with their housemade mozzarella and marinara...so gooood! Their mozzarella beats the store shreds definitely.
AND, THEIR SEITAN WINGS!!!...perfect crispy coating and chewy inside texture with many flavour choices for dip or drench. The maple garlic we tried was amaaazing! I've been looking for someone to replicate the honey-garlic taste from my childhood and Rise Above delivered.
They have a great VHS Tape Collection to spark conversation, a couple of Pinball Machines, a Vintage TV showing great oldies...Stephen King's Cat's Eye was playing one night.
We really enjoyed our visits...great, friendly and efficient staff each night we were there.

The wings were really amazing -- the seitan is a perfect texture. I didn't love the pizza as much: the pepperoni had an unfamiliar flavor and was extremely thin instead of being what is was supposed to represent.
Read moreI liked the unique cocktails, retro vibe, and the service was really friendly. Took a while for the food to come out while the pizzas by the slice were restocked quite regularly, but a good place to dine nonetheless.

Stopped in for a pizza, decided to go with a couple slices to try two different ones. Tasty but dry after reheating, perhaps we’re sitting for a while. Will give another try when in Hamilton again.

We had been to the St Catharine’s location but not this one. I think this location has even better food. The wing are amazing, I could eat them all day long. Liked the Cesar salad too. We brought two non vegans and they liked the food too (got the mac n cheese & a pizza).

So far, I've only done a pick up on the way home from work one night, so can't comment on any dinning in experience, but what I saw was very promising. The loo & feel of the place is very cool and I loved a lot of the little touched - the pinball machines & video tape boxes at the entrance and the artwork on the walls.

Just go!!! The wings are the best I’ve ever had - perfect seitan with a crispy coating covered in sweet garlic sauce and served with homemade ranch. I was skeptical about a Philly cheesesteak with “gravy” but it was absolutely perfect! I also got the fettuccine Alfredo and a slice of breakfast pizza to go and both were perfect as leftovers. I just wish I lived closer so I could try the whole menu!

Was in Hamilton today helping with a move, when done decided to grab dinner for everyone that helped out. Grabbed the pepperoni and a steeltown pizza , the kale Caesar salad, a couple types of the wings and an order of garlic bread. ALL of it was ravished and enjoyed by all. Vegans and non-vegans alike. This is a must visit place if you are in or even near Hamilton!

Been here about 3 times and everytime I go I have to get the seitan wings! They are soo good..I am not fully satisfied with califlower wings but these wings really hit the spot.❣️ Their pizzas are also very good but it's the wings that keep me coming back!😂
