Fewer vegan options - Edit

Staff not very knowledgeable if food is vegan. Confirm with chef.

Capitol Salad + Quinoa Relleno - Edit

Very low key atmosphere, for most of our meal we had the restaurant to ourselves (Monday night). The quinoa relleno days vegan upon request on the menu and is worth the $$. Good music.

Delicious - Edit

Rio Chama is really a steakhouse with very limited vegan options and honestly we were concerned about whether or not this was the place for vegans to eat at. We were pleasantly surprised at how delicious everything was. We ordered the quinoa relleno without cheese, the mushroom burger without cheese, the ramen and sweet potato fries. The ramen, after we triple checked that it was actually vegan, was the most delicious and unique item, followed by the mushroom burger. They also have a full bar and we ordered a couple of beers. Definitely going back.

Pros: delicious - the chef knows how to handle food, beautiful location, covered outdoor seating
