Amazing vegan options! - Edit
Plenty of vegan options, including plant-based milks. We had the jackfruit wrap and it was the nicest jackfruit we have ever had! The wedges and iced pandan latté were also really good. Really nice vibe to the restaurant too with nice decor and plenty of outside space to sit. Only downside is it gets busy so you might struggle to find room to sit! Very well priced too.

Lovely Spot ✨ - Edit
Was one of our favorite food spots, always busy especially for dinner time so make sure that you come early. Food is very delicious, nice vegan options, very delicious salads & bowls. Also a good option for breakfast, the smoothie bowl was very tasty. They also have nice Ice cream and Desserts, highly recommend the Snickers Bar, such a dream!

Vegan heaven! - Edit
Sooo many vegan options here, this was my go to place in Amed! The Mediterranean burger was on point, good coffee and the salads are good also. Everything I tried on the menu was super delicious. Also the vibe and aesthetic of the cafe was well thought out, plenty of seating options and very good service from the staff.

Nice place, cozy ambiance & good food - Edit
It's a "touristy" place, but the interior is so well appointed that you don't notice the crowds. The plants and lights make all the difference :)
Read moreVery good food, sufficient quantity and fair prices. There are quite a few vegan options, as well as desserts and ice creams.
Pros: vegan options, beautiful place!

My fav - Edit
There are days where I’m a repeat offender here. I love Rimba. Fresh, delicious food. Good range of vegan options. Staff are very accomodating to modifying meals to make them vegan. Vegans snickers is delicious.

Proper desert, not raw, not made of beetroot or coconut etc
Pros: Vegan desert (the kind that actual tastes good), Clearly labeled , No added tax
Cons: Could have more options on their savoury menu, A tad pricey for Amed

We had the Mediterranean (74k) and Mexican (76k) with potato wedges (25k). Wedges were great, burgers were good but could be more interesting.

Favorite Resto in Amed - Edit
Rimba cafe is just off Amed beach and has a cozy bamboo garden vibe with all its hanging plants.
Read moreThey have a unique selection of vegan options like pumpkin waffles, coconut ceviche, jackfruit poke, soursop sorbet, vegan tarts, kombucha, and more.
The kombucha was delicious, the poke bowl a bit sour, the fries weren’t the best, and the soursop sorbet was a nice ending. I went back for breakfast and the waffle and papaya jam was amazing and a great deal. The pumpkin muffin was filling but a little too much like gingerbread.

I could not believe they offer traditional meat based plates like Ceviche in a vegan version. You know what? Delicious. Don't miss it.

Very good food quality, nice ambient place, good variety - Edit
Very nice ambient (garden with a lot of green) and clean place, high quality food (best salad benchmark in the area), well labeled vegan food, vegan-sensitive staff, good selection of vegan food options (not many deserts, but aditional sweets in the front).

Healthy vegan! - Edit
Amed doesn't have so many vegan options, and especially during these times, many restaurants are closed so it reduces the options even further.
Read moreI'm kind of surprised Rimba isn't already on here... it's a popular place, no?
Anyway, the interior is your typical result of searching "Bali" via Pinterest. That Canggu/Uluwatu flavour, but in Amed.
Anyway, the food:
Complete salad: the first time I asked for substitutions, it wasn't the smoothest dialogue, but now I've done it so many times, they seem really easygoing and eager to help.
Vegan salad: it looked like... just a lot of carrots. So he had to order the burger on top of it... which he seemed ok with.
Falafel salad: i like it, small appears indeedly small, but it left space for dessert.
Only a few of the ice creams are vegan, I really like the soursop. I'm also so confused why they didn't bother making the coconut one vegan...
Pros: Clean food, Friendly staff
Cons: the FLIES!!!
