Great vegan post for typical roman food! - Edit
This restaurant has 4 stars as it used to be "with vegan options", but last year they switched to a fully vegan kitchen. They serve typical Italian food, and in particular dishes from Rome like pasta alla carbonara, cacio e pepe, amatriciana and so on. Everything I've ever tried here was amazing and I strongly recommend it to any vegan visiting Rome! It's close to the main train station so it's easy to reach; remember to book on their website as it's often full.

MOST AMAZING VEGAN RESTAURANT I EVER WAS - Edit
Me and my wife went there and had the artichokes, the bruschetones, the carbonara, the seitan escalopes al fungi and with lemon, both with baked potatoes, the tiramisu, the rocher gianduia al cuore de albicocca…all, I mean EVERY DISH was absolutely divine! Service was fast and very sympathetic and location is really nice, even though a little small.

Good not great - Edit
I expected more honestly, the presentations are great but they oversell the food which doesn't really match in terms of textures and flavors. The lasagna was good, lacked some flavor and it was a little too soft for my liking, the "meat balls" were nice but the pumpkin chips were not crunchy at all and felt almost a bit stale. Overall it was a decent meal that didn't meet my expectations.

Einfach geniales Essen!

My favourite vegan place in Rome - Edit
I had so many things off the menu during my time in Rome since it was all so delicious! Recommend the cannelloni vegan, the risotto, the carbonara, the ‘mezze maniche alla gricia’, the marinated seitan with baked potatoes, and the pizza orientale vegan. I absolutely loved every one of these dishes!

Nice food, but unfrienfly staff, dirty toilet - Edit
Had made a reservation, and that's absolutely necessary, as the place soon filled, and we saw people being turned away.
Read moreThe menu is quite extensive, and its good that there are photos included, although still hard to choose.
The food was ok-ish. Traditional Italian/Roman dishes. Fair price, but also rather small portions.
We had
- arachino 3€
- bruschetta with gorgonzola and mushrooms 8€
- crepes with spinach and potatoes 14€
- calzone campagnole 13€
Desserts:
Panna cotta with caramel 6€
Cheese cake with figs 7€
What killed it was the unfriendly service.
The waiter didnt say hello or anything, just a sort of nod in our direction, and after I said our reservation name, he checked on his screen, and then just pointed at at a table. No welcome, no 'have a nice meal', grumpy looking, no asking how the food was, very difficult to grab their attention to order etc (they dont seem to look around).
After the mains we waited to check whether at least someone would come and ask if we wanted any dessert. After 20 minutes it was clear they wouldn't, so then it took another 10 min before we could grab one's attention to order dessert (by in the end both waving our arms up high!! 🙈).
Tables also VERY close together, you can practically eat from the plate on the table next to you. Small tables, cramped sitting.
No relaxed atmosphere.
One toilet. Which needs a good wash. Toilet seat was very dirty (this was not from one day, but clearly had not been washed in a while, like - with a sponge!). Eek.
Not accessible, step to get in. No room to manoeuver inside.

We had a good time here. If you're a dessert person you will be happy with the size especially of the tiramisu. The food was okay the cannelloni a bit too sour and the pasta a bit too smokey.
