Good vegan food - Edit
We went here recently and the food was decent. They had a mushroom entree which was fantastic, I could eat this every day and never stop loving it. Other simple sides of olives, chips, soup of day. Mains were a pumpkin quinoa dish and burger. Burger was great, the pumpkin dish was tasty but too small and left us hungry. Also strangely the entrees were brought out with mains which was a shame. Menu was also poorly labelled (eg had ravioli listed as vegan, we checked and it wasn’t). Also worth noting no vegan dessert when we went. Overall great food though, good views and friendly staff, would go again.

On a calm sunny day, this is a sensational place to be. Add on friendly service and a very good range of vegan options ticks many boxes. The crispy tofu salad was generous and fresh, a little more sauce would have been nice. The vegan burger had some interesting flavours, a lot more thought than your regular burger. They even have a vegan dessert.

Marking up to 3 because of the views. We got the pumpkin and the mushrooms and both were very "meh", it is a really lovely view though. The pumpkin was a bit bland, the mushrooms not very substantial but fine and unfortunately the water tasted like it had soap in it. And although we were the only people in the restaurant it took ~20mins to get the food...

Surprised to find so many great vegan options at this traditional lodge bistro. I had a crispy tofu noodle salad and shared the two excellent vegan desserts. Soup of the day is always vegan. Also has a vegan burger. And all the plant milks for coffee.
