Part of chain of health food stores in Florida. Stocks natural and organic food, specialty food, vitamins, nutritional supplements, personal care, bulk staples, gluten-free, and more. Open Mon-Sat 9:00am-7:00pm, Sun 11:00am-5:00pm.
In Good Faith, I pointed out that when a vehicle is parked in front the pillar... Maybe Bill didn't like a 100% Disabled American Veteran pointing out ACCESS PROBLEM[ADA] to the store, when there's a vehicle pulled all the way up in the parking spot in front of the huge pillar. [they have a double row of shopping carts, metal framed]...seriously! ONE row, would have allowed proper access into a supposed health food store. The ADA ramp is located at totally the other end of the shopping center?!?
"NO .. Bill's [aka Nobody's] like "it's not our problem, we lease."
"oh no, he did not!.. oh no, he did not tell me without words, this store is only for NON-ADA persons.
IF you are wider than like 16 inches...you are not "allowed to park West of the Front door...unless you are willing and able to turn sideways and able to get into the store, if a vehicle is parked in the spot in front of the huge pillar...their DOUBLE rows of carts...makes it nonADA accessible, based on Bill's response... they might have done it, on purpose, in order to get an ADA access ramp into the store, who knows? [sarcasm]
[I am thinking that someone at the permit office, definitely was sleeping, when they put in a permit to drill into the shopping center's foundation, to obstruct a walk way.] [did Richard's even put in for a permit to drill into the foundation of a shopping center, Bill stated, that Richard's do not own?]
I asked, "Can you call the police for me?" "NO!" "NO!"
..finally someone called the Police for me. Finally, one person called... she informed me, a 100% DAV... VEGAN VET ... that I cannot come back to the store!
After I had bought over $24 of Vegan [fudge type] desserts.
Aaaannnnnddd I went back to my HomeTown to watch BANDSTAND. my HS is a 12 blocks ago, I graduated in 1988...and joined the military.
Richard's figuratively spit on all Vets, all DAVs and all disabled people, and ALL ADA ADVOCATES, mind you, it's "supposedly" a "health?!?," LOL, [because I do not want to cry] store.
Cons: NOT ADA ACCESSIBLE double row of shopping carts., THEY TRESPASSED 100% DAV for GOOD FAITH compliancy, ...IF, the DAV points out as access problem
I really appreciate that this place is here - was very handy for our vacation on Anna Maria Island.
They stock a great selection in the weigh-bulk-bins and lots of other health foods. A few fresh foods too.
