Best Vegan Tasting Menu - Edit
Rice Queen is a restaurant taking inspiration from several Asian cuisines. The atmosphere and the layout of the restaurant is excellent. The staff are just as lovely.
Read moreThe food however is what stole the show. They have a 6 item vegan tasting menu priced at $55pp on a weeknight and my god was it worth it. 6 for 6 each dish hit the spot. Usually vegan tasting menus have at least one dish that doesn’t quite impress (or is awful) but this one was flawless. Starting with a mock salmon dish, Szechuan crispy tofu, onto mushroom dumplings, onto crispy cauliflower bites and a bean curd bao which you construct at the table and finishing on a lovely Thai green curry served with salad, roti, and rice. The roti was the flakiest goodness.
HIGHLY recommend! Will be back!
