Cross contamination - Edit
Twice now, I have bitten into chunks of meat that somehow made their way into my to-go order. These orders were a year apart, and every time I order a veggie dish, I write "vegan please" in the notes section. Otherwise, the food is decent but very greasy.

Great food but the listed address might have you looking for the entrance around the corner if you’re using google maps. Having said that, really delicious food and friendly service!

Be diligent when ordering here - Edit
I've eaten here both pre-vegan and now vegan. You need to be very careful when ordering. It seems like every time I go they change their minds about what can be made vegan and what can't. Also, I've ordered something vegan and it arrives with egg in it. One time it even came with chicken. Also, they may use fish sauce or shrimp paste in some sauces and not tell you. That said, once you get past the ordering thing, the food is pretty good. I don't eat here or get takeout all that often from them anymore due to all of the confusion. It is one of the few places in Bozeman that can do vegan, so keep it on your list of places to try when in town.
Read moreI’m revising my 3 star rating to a 1 star rating. The most recent time I ate at Rice it was truly gross. I ate with a friend whose meal was also disgusting. Add to it that I found a long hair in my rice (clearly belonging to the only waitress there). Other than offering me a new bowl of rice (which came from the same rice maker as the rice with the hair in it) she was very blasé about the hair. There’s no filtration system in this restaurant so it’s always smoky (from the cooking, not smokers). Your clothes will smell terrible when you leave. I will not eat here again.

Cons: You have to be extra diligent when ordering, Waitstaff never 100% sure what can be veganized, It’s a no go anymore for me

They have a lot of vegan and vegetarian options. Also, almost every item can be made. Service was great but there is only 5 tables. I would definitely recommend eating here.
