Really great but run by meat eaters - Edit
Fab food and service. Lots of lovely vegan and veggie choices. The owners themselves however aren’t veggie or vegan

Salt cool breeze coming from the west - Edit
In this quaint seafood oriented town is the beautiful green fronted emerald of Rialto. A true family establishment with decades of history where a genuine friendly welcome is guaranteed. From the extremely vegan friendly fully vegetarian menu we picked the marinated tempeh and teriyaki seitan ciabattas which were both sensational. Infused with flavour and full of vibrant textures. Every bite was a moment to hold. £23 for a couple of sandwiches and pots of tea. Nothing to grumble about.

Amazing food, get takeout if busy - Edit
Really worth the wait, lots of vegan options and amazingly tasty. If it’s busy which it was when we went, get takeout as very tasty. Got a sweet and savoury and both were great. Will come again.

Fabulous veggie and vegan food - Edit
What a fabulous place. As a vegetarian I often struggle to find decent places to eat in Scotland but this place is brilliant- lots of choice and some really interesting veggie and vegan dishes. Thank you so much - we only had cake (which was delicious!) but next time will have more.

We had the pulled king oyster mushroom ciabatta. It was delicious. To the point where I think about it often.
Wish we didn’t live 8 hours away I would eat it everyday.
Delicious coffee too

Proper hearty vegan nosh! - Edit
Rialto on Eyemouth High St is a little gem. A warm, friendly welcome & delicious, hearty veg food with a good vegan selection.
Read moreWhilst many vegan options these days are limited to the predictable burgers, falafel or nachos, Rialto offers varied, flavourful, veg & pulse-rich, nutritious foods, like the best vegan restaurants did years ago.
There's a rich lentil & mushrooms stew on the specials that I can't get enough of!
The coffee is excellent, with oatmylk available for lattes & cappuccino.
Some vegan cakes available too.
Pros: Flavourful, interesting veggies., Very friendly welcome & chat., Fair prices.

Delicious vegan food with friendly staff - Edit
Visited today with my partner. He had a white coffee, curried cauliflower filo wrap and a brownie. I had a latte with oat milk, TLT ciabatta and ginger cake with lemon and crystallised ginger. The menu was mainly vegan which I was delighted to see. I’ve added a photo of the menu and our food. There were a few vegetarian options too. The food was delicious. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back.

Lovely Rialto - Edit
Friendly café close to the seafront. We had vegan ‘lobster’ (£7) and a vegan filo wrap filled with spicy potatoes, spinach and cauliflower (£6), which were delicious, as was the oat-milk lattes. They don’t do vegan breakfasts any more, so the photo at the top of their page on HappyCow is out of date.

Highly recommended - Edit
This is a great cafe! The owners are warm and welcoming and the food is really excellent. We had filo wraps and vegan lobster, both outstanding. More than half the savoury options were vegan and there were lots of seriously delicious cakes etc, again several vegan options which was impressive in a small cafe/ place. Lovely chats with owners about food/ flavours/ recipes. Cinnamon buns to die for!

A good selection of vegan options alongside meat & vegetarian & gluten free options. Vegan breakfast included Macsween haggis (made with oats & seeds etc) - delicious! Beans & mushrooms were yummy too. Bought scone & teacake to try later. Even more yum!! Staff were super friendly & welcoming. Atmosphere cosy (open fire), lovely decor. Will definitely go again. Not open Sunday (boo hoo). Reasonably priced.
