Food was good but took 40 minutes

The food was good, but we waited for 40 minutes😲it’s a food truck so you think they’d be rather speedy, especially considering what we ordered, but no we waited an excruciatingly long time for food.

We got the breakfast toast and the quesadilla, which was supposed to come with tater tots but came with fries instead. They did end up offering us a free water which was nice because there’s only outdoor seating and it was middle of August in Texas.

Great vegan taco options!!

Pleasantly surprised by the el pastor and barbacoa tacos. Watch out for that habanero salsa though- it is pretty spicy!! The side fries were also so good.

Pros: Barbacoa , El pastor

Fabulous burgers. Best fries and onion rings I've had in Austin!

I have always been happy with the veggie burgers here. I just discovered the new addition - the Big Mak. I would just have it without the middle slice of bread. Definitely don't miss out on the fries and onion rings. They are, hands down, the best in town! A bit of a wait, but worth it.

Pros: Fries and onion rings

I love the tacos

The Al Pastor tacos are my favorite. The burgers are also very good and everything is very filling. There's usually a bit of a wait but that can be expected because there's often just one or two people working the food truck.

Pros: All vegan

Cons: A bit of a wait

First try

Food was decent. I thought the flavor was lacking on the mac and cheese. The bacon burger was okay I wonder if I’d like their lentil burger more. I also ordered delivery jsyk.

Pros: Fully vegan establishment , Fair prices for the amount of food

So Filling!!

Everything was so wonderful! The Mac & cheeze could use a bit more cheese but it had wonderful flavor! I had the Vaquero without Mayo. It was so filling! The fries were good and not greasy!

Pros: Very Filling, Great Flavors, Eco-Friendly Packaging

Great vegan food truck

Food truck in Thicket Food Truck park. My favorite items here are the pastor tacos and the agua Fresca. I could eat these tacos every week.

Pros: Lots of vegan options

Vegan Market Day!

Super yummy! Tried them out during a vegan market day at the Thicket food truck park and they did not disappoint. Their buffalo chick'n wrap was huge and delicious! The fries were ok. Nozeralla sticks were interesting. Still working on my love for cheese, so I don't want to give them a bad review but they were not for me. Will definitely swing by again!

Horrible Service

I live near the Thicket Food Trailer Park and love this location and the food. However, tonight I was there with my daughter and grandchildren and accidentally threw away trash in a bin they owned from food of another vendor. The young female and other coworker laughed because we did not notice the small sign stating it was for their customers only. They insulted my daughter saying she can’t read. It was rude and when my daughter confronted her, the girl with purple hair engaged in an argument and never apologized. Sadly, I will no longer patronize them. Poor customer service and hope this treatment is addressed properly.

Pros: Food is good., Affordable prices.

Cons: Poor customer service., Employees are not properly supervised.

A seditious galley assuaging pantophagous appetitions.

A bit of a journey south, with outside tables.

Consistently great

Been at least 20 times since it’s near my house. I love their Texan burger. It’s my go-to comfort food if I’ve had a bad day or just feel like treating myself.

Pros: Great fries, tacos and burgers, Friendly staff, Decent location

Cons: A tad expensive, but worth every penny

Good curly fries grumpy worker

I'd rate our experience 2 stars but adding a 3rd because they offer a kids menu and I don't want to keep people from eating at a vegan restaurant but jeez we had a really poor experience. First, the cart wasn't open when they should have been ( I get things happen and we checked their social media and saw the delay waited the 30 minutes) when they finally opened the worker was incredibly dry and clearly frustrated taking my really easy no fuss order. I asked how long it would take our food as we were trying to catch a doctor appointment, they said 5 minutes. My buffalo wrap was mostly lettuce, and my daughter's nuggets looked like really cheap frozen ones. My husband's burger was okay, but they were all sloppily thrown together and really not Impressive at all. After eating and picking up our table, I said thank you very much, and the worker gave me a look at said nothing at all. So lame, my whole family felt really uncomfortable after the whole interaction with this person. I can't recommend revolution when the workers don't exemplify kindness or compassion.

Delicious Vegan Food in South Austin

We love Revolution. Everything I have tried there I’ve liked. My favorites are the carne asada tacos, but the philly cheese”steak” and the burgers are really good too. Also, their notzarella sticks are great. And their queso is to-die-for. Haha everything is delicious. And their location is perfect, since there aren’t many vegan options in South south Austin.

Best. Ever.

On our path of hitting every vegan truck/restaurant this gem exceeded expectations and was by far the best burger! The mozz sticks were delish- dont pass those up and get 2 orders!

Pros: Delicious flavor, not super greasy.

Cons: None

Perfect little find

On my recent trip to Austin we were recommended this food truck and we wasnt disappointed. The food was out of this world and the staff/owners were very welcoming and supportive of my work. We visited several times and id go as far as to say that fly back from the UK just for another bite.

Pros: Amazing food, Great price, Good location

Some of the best vegan food south of 290!

We eat here regularly and love that food park is BYOB. Best curly fries and love the Buffalo Chicken Wrap. Been wanting to try Nozarella sticks, but sold out each time.

Pros: Lots of options (wraps, tacos, sandwiches), Best vegan ranch , Delicious perfectly cooked curly fries

Cons: Frequently sold out of items, Doesn’t answer calls to place takeout

Maybe next time

I stood at the window for several minutes and was not acknowledged by the staff. I even was speaking (very) loudly to my friend so that they would turn around, and they didn't. I made a special trip to this food park for them. Needs better customer service.

Delicious but a little pricey

I had some notzarella cheese sticks and a philly cheese steak. Both delicious. Maybe not the best philly I’ve had but it was peppery and a little messy like it’s suppose to be! Best vegan cheese sticks I’ve had. You only get 5 small cheese sticks for your $7 though. Compared to other vegan food trucks in Austin it’s a a bit pricey.

Pros: Delicious

Cons: Expensive

Good but expensive

My first impression of RVK was that it seemed rather expensive, even by food truck standards. But I had the notzarella sticks and cheesesteak. The notzarella sticks were good, but the serving was tiny, especially for $7. The cheesesteak was pretty good, but I’ve had better in Austin, not to mention cheaper. It was all good, but price alone would deter me from making this a frequent go-to. Guess I’m just cheap! 😜

Pros: Tasty, Lots of options

Cons: Expensive
