Good food here - Edit
This restaurant is in the same block as the Sampe Vegetarian Restaurant, so you can compare the meals of the day before choosing. I went here in 2014, and then again in April 2023. Over the years, I think their food got better. The food was good and basic when I went, with perhaps too much rice on the plate (but at least it was brown rice). Today's meal was a drink, a small dessert, a mixed salad, and the main plate which had split pea stew with mock meat and brown rice. Flavors were good. I got here on a Sunday at 1:15 in the afternoon and there was only one table left. In April 2023 the meal of the day was 13 soles. The food appears to be vegan. Walking distance to Sampe, Vida y Salud, Loving Hut restaurants. Good neighborhood to be based in if you're veggie!

Masomenos! - Edit

Villa Natura for lunch - Edit
Villa Natura is an eatery that offers a daily lunch menu as well as fast food snacks and plenty of fresh juices.
Read moreAt peak times is can be pretty crowded. As a vegetarian you won't have any problems, as a vegan however it can be hard, since many dishes contain dairy. The lunch menu provides some options, you have to be really specific if you want to make sure the dish you are going to order will be vegan though. That could be a challenge when there is lots of going on at peak times, when the staff don't really know what 'vegan' means and especially when on top of that your Spanish is poor.
Basically you would go to Villa Natura just to appease your hunger, there is nothing special about this place, but the food is alright and the prices are very inexpensive. For a set lunch meal you'll pay 8 soles or something and you'll be sated.
Pros: very inexpensive, fair food
Cons: nothing special about it, tricky for vegans
