Very simple food - Edit
I rate this place as three stars for being average. There's only two veggie places in town. I had lunch here one day when I was in Ibarra and I found the food to be acceptable, but it just seemed boring. I'm tired of vegetarian places that give you rice, beans, a small salad and a piece of mock meat on a plate. The meal also came with a drink and a bowl of soup but there again, the flavors were just boring. Perhaps I just visited on an "off" day, and I hope that's the case. The pictures that other people posted on here look a lot better than the food that I got. The price is reasonable, and they charge $1.50 for delivery if needed.

Menu del dia - Edit
Not given any choice except menu del dia. Came with a big bowl of a good vegetable soup, then a plate of bean balls in tomato sauce, vegetables with a basil cream and rice, plus a drink. Could add half an avocado on the side. Everything tasted great I just wish the meal was hot rather than room temperature (not even warm). Cheap price.

Only Vegan Place in Ibarra, Has 2 Locations - Edit
They're always open when they say they will be, which is rare and appreciated in this part of the world. Sometimes they run out of food before 3. It's a popular place.
Read moreThe food is good and fresh. As a big guy, I'd appreciate more calories and protein, but most vegans will be satisfied with the portion sizes.
The service is good and friendly. The food arrives to you quickly.
I trust the sanitation. They clean things regularly throughout the day. The place is clean.
The aji is good, but it's not spicy/hot at all.
Sad, depressing, broken-heart US love "music" played on repeat every day makes me prefer going to their other smaller location.
Cost is $3, or $3.50 with half an avocado.
Overall highly recommended.

Cheap and filling - Edit
You kind of know what you get with vegetarian lunch places, and this is no exception - a pretty tasty, healthy and cheap meal. The price here was almost 3 dollars for a menu. Be sure to specify vegan, if applicable.

Daily vegan lunch - Edit
A vegan recommended this place for lunch and it was a good recommendation. The lunch included soup, main and a juice and we paid less than 3 dollars for lunch per person. The restaurant is vegetarian but has a vegan lunch menu every day. The setting is nice and the service is friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Ibarra!
