Very good food here - Edit
The day I went, the lunch of the day included a Juice drink, a bowl of beans with a crunchy topping and the main plate with four items. I thought the food was quite good and I would be happy to return. The price as of October 2023 is 15.000 for the meal of the day.

Veggie which really includes vegans - Edit
Lovely service, delicious food, and they offered us an extra tea to replace the non vegan dessert. 💕 we also got an extra juice. Wonderful service and super delicious meal. The lunch portions are on the smaller scale, but filling enough. Deeply appreciated.

Edible and good portions but - Edit
Quite edible and certainly very generous but every part of my menu del dia was far from delicious sadly. I was hoping for much more and may even risk trying it again tomorrow but I’m hesitant

Read moreWe went on. Day that the buffet was closed and they were providing a menu of the day. This was because it was a quiet period. The menu of the day was substantial and included a large soup, juice, main dish, a small desert and an aromatic tea. The main course included two fried items, rice with veg and a salad. The food was tasty and filled us up.

The staff are incredibly friendly, lovely atmosphere in the restaurant as well, with locals chilling having their lunch.
Interesting and lovely tasting meal. Soup, main, small dessert and a drink for 9,000 pesos.
Pros: Great for vegans , Can choose your own menu del dia, Get a pudding too!

It was a pretty basic lunch with almost no flavour. It was pretty underwhelming after lots of Colombians telling me it was delicious. The service is excellent though and the restaurant itself has a very nice atmosphere.

Huge portions, runs out fast! - Edit
Orellana is located just off Avenida Paralela - where many of the buses run - and next to a tunnel. It's a large, multi-level restaurant, with a buffet-style lunch. We ordered soup, a huge tamale, beans and rice, salad, carbe, pakoras, juice and dessert for $8000 each. The portions were huge, but the soup was overly salty and the dessert less sweet than some of the savoury parts of the meal.
