Cons: No tienen leche vegetal habitualmente

Delicious lunch - Edit
We decided to stop in Lerma and were lucky enough to get a table for two. I had the vegan hamburger which was one of the best I’ve ever had. The roasted veggies on it were a superb addition. They were kind enough to make up a vegan salad which was crisp and tasty and then for dessert we shared the crème brûlée with roasted fruit (I had the fruit). An altogether fantastic meal in a beautiful patio.

Not many options, but offers good quality products - Edit
They don't offer many dishes, but the ingredients used are clearly sourced from the region. I had a "Chuletón de tomate" ("Tomato steak"): a huge tomato with avocado, mango and pesto on top; and a vegetable tempura, with unusual greens for a classic tempura. Both were absolutely terrific. Be wary though: they added parmesan cheese on top of the tomato, although that's not disclosed on the menu.

Cons: Some ingredients are not properly disclosed., A little bit pricey, but nothing extravagant.

Room for improvement - Edit
I was thrilled when I discovered this place. Gorgeous spot and with veggie options! It can be hard being vegan in rural Spain. In my experience, I have always had to miss out on eating out with friends because there were simply no options.
Read moreAnd so, I decided to give this place a try. The decoration was stunning. Charming spot, nice staff and chill atmosphere. As appetizers, we ordered "pimientos del padrón" and gazpacho. The gazpacho came with olive oil ice cream. I had my doubts about the ice-cream being vegan, so I asked. The server double-checked with the kitchen and said it didn't contain any animal products (however, I still have my doubts about it). As main course, I had their veggie burger without cheese. I had called before hand to make sure the burger could be made vegan and they said I just had to take out the cheese. I did that, but the burger came with a sauce that contained mayo... I guess it was my fault for not asking about that too, so I removed it the best that I could. I really don't want to say anything bad about this place, but the patty was bad😒it wasn't home-made and it had a weird taste.
Overall, this place was a bit of a disappointment, but there's definitely room for improvement. Still, if you are in the area and want to eat out, the atmosphere makes it all worth it.
