Great food and location but limited options - Edit
The two best things about Doña Clorinda for vegans and vegetarians are the location and the lovely family who run it. They are animals lovers, have very well cared for dogs in the yard of the restaurant and run environmental programs. However, there are very limited options for vegetarians and vegans - vegans especially don't have much choice outside of a quinoa soup. Still if you want to enjoy the scenery and garden with your friends who eat meat, it's a lovely location.

Welcome veggie option in Peru - Edit
This cafe is used to accommodating vegetarian tourists. They have delicious traditional Andes food, which is largely vegetarian. In the high sierra, many Peruvian families did not have access to meat. Recommended food includes the Ajiaco de Sapallo/Calabazas (which is vegetables and squash in a cream sauce with rice).
