All food is made-in-house, much of which is vegan but if you don't see vegan clearly labeled then please inquire. (Please say “postno” - word for a vegan dish in Bulgarian - and if you emphasize "no animal products" they will be more then happy to custom make.) Open Mon-Sat 17:00-00:00. Closed Sun.

Hi, I just felt the need to clarify as in yhe description yhere is in orrect information:
In bulgarian постно (" póstno") does not necessarily mean vegan at all. If anything, vegetarian/ovolactovegetarian as word actually comes from fasting, and depending on the prthodox religious holy day dairy or meats may be forbidden.

If you are lucky , asking " postno" would get you a dish without the chicken or beef ( even if it was cooked with those, would just be fished out) but certainly does not ever ensure that it would be free of dairy byproducts such as butter or cheeses for example.
And lastly, as general bulgarian setting unless you are in a very modern establishment , saying " no animal products" wont guarantee no honey or similar ones for example.

I think this is very important to state as its highly misleading! To this day many chains and big business continue to offer to veganize a beverage in Sofia or Plovdiv bar/cafes adding oat/almond/soy milk instead of cow milk but their other ingredients in the beverage contain dairy and it is NOT laid out. (Happenned to me speaking native bulgarian and clearly informing staff of allergy, so PLEASE be safe and do not assume that " postno" would be enough and describe/clarify when you order.l, whichever restaurant in Bulgaria.)
