Hirschi is a good restaurant and concert location which offers yummy vegan options like salads, soups, different mains (they change daily) as well as desserts and also good alcoholic & nonalcoholic drinks. I love the atmosphere there.

Love this space - Edit
Great place with exceptional politics. They often put gigs and exhibitions on so it’s worth heading down early. Staff are all great with suitably reaffirming attitudes and friendliness. Coffee is good too!

We ordered 2 dishes, lasagna and pasta pomodoro. The pasta was literally a bit of spaghetti with a spoon of (what seemed like) the cheapest ready made tomato sauce available. That was something a student could make in his dormitory in 15 minutes. Lasagna was a bit better as it had mushrooms etc., but still had the cheap and unrefined taste. Unfortunately disappointing.

I was honestly a bit disappointed considering the expectations I'd had from reviews, but then again I probably didn't pick the dish I would have liked best! The Tofubällchen were good, but the wild reis and veggies were fine, though nothing special at all. I would recommend the place to vegetarians and vegans visiting Basel, but perhaps it wouldn't be my first stop when visiting next time.

The food was good and i love that you can have the whole menu vegan, so there is a vegan appetizer, a vegan main dish and a vegan dessert. Everything vegan is clearly labeled. Also i love that there is local and organic beer. Because it is a progressive spot the community is special and the ambience too.

The food is always very tasty and they have a few vegan options which are changing. The potions are big and the staff is very frendly. We recommend this place to everyone who lives or visit basel and is searching for a cozy place to eat or chill.

We came to this place for a beer (local and really good, they do have bio options) last night and we saw many vegan options on the menu .. So we decided to come back today for dinner and taste a Germanic dish cooked in a vegan way

good food, nice alternative atmosphere. - Edit
a vegetarian friend and i ate here last night and both enjoyed the meal. we both had cauliflower soups. i then had a veggie burger and my friend an eggplant börek (Turkish "lasagne-like" dish). neither of us even *offered* the other a bite of our dishes. the atmosphere is alternative/political, which i like (but ymmv).
