Cooked vegan risotto with Parmesan

The restaurant only has two vegan options on the lunch/dinner menu in the 2024 summer season: The arrabbiata pasta and the mushroom risotto. The mushroom risotto comes with Parmesan cheese mixed in even though these two items are marked vegan on the menu and we ordered saying VEGAN risotto! So had to taste it and send it back. There was a lot of Parmesan in it. They got it right on the second try but the flavor wasn’t very good. Which made us think the risotto we had the day before wasn’t vegan either. They ask to grate Parmesan on the table after telling waiter we are vegan. Facepalm!
On the positive side, the pasta dish was good and they modified it for me to make it not spicy.
The beyond burger was recently removed from the menu. They don’t have traditional meze dishes either so they have no vegan protein options at the moment at all.

Breakfast: single vegan option on the menu is avocado toast. Has few chia seeds sprinkled. Again little vegan protein. The breakfast buffet had sautéd mushrooms but allergens weren’t labeled so we didn’t risk it.
Other than that they had a bread basket (no allergen labels), fruit, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, some nuts, dried fruit. Granola was not labelled. No plant based yogurt.
Couple of smoothies and juices. Those are good.
It might still be ok to stay here for a few days but it’s better to eat at Koukoumi or in old town (Rhino).

Cons: Vegan item served with cheese 👎, Very few options , No vegan protein

Wonderful restaurant right on the beach

Great athmosphere. Great food. Great view right to the beach. Many vegan options, that are clearly labeled.
