Delicious local Sri Lankan curry - Edit
If your looking for local Sri Lankan home cooked food this place is where you need to be!! It’s not like any other restaurant like on the main road, it’s more like a hidden gem. My partner and I were drawn to rekha by reading reviews and it was what we were looking for. We try to stay away from the high price tourist restaurants and go for the local food. We did wait a little while but it was all good as the owner cooked to order, fresh and came out hot and made with love. We got the vegetable curry and vegetable kottu roti and both dishes were amazingly delicious. We asked the owner he could make everything vegan and he had no problem with that and already knew what vegan means which we were impressed with as veganism ain’t so big yet in Sri Lanka. We finished and he even offered us extra curry no charge which was very kind of him. Overall very delicious homemade food with love and will definitely will end up going back if where around again!!
