Great lunch during our hike in the Dolomites

We were happily surprised that at the halfway point of our hike we came across this rifugio that offered several vegan options such as polenta with mushrooms and pasta with vegetables.

Amazing hikers hostel in the dolomite mountains

I went on a 3 day hiking trip with my colleagues and one of our two stays was at Rifugio Firenze (Regensburger Hütte). I was very pleased to hear that they could cater a 4 course dinner to vegans and it was lovely. A pasta with tomato sauce, a salad, spinach with baked potatoes and amazing mushrooms and a full plate of fruits.

Pros: Very welcoming to vegans, Amazing vegan dinner

Cons: No real vegan options for breakfast except bread
