super wholesome! this place has been in existence for more than 20years I think so its also a bit of a community place. Lots of vegan labelled food! daily changing lunch menu, freshly cooked, healthy, and affordable! there is a free water station, etc. I would eat here everyday if I had my lunch break around here....
Asked for vegan wrap, contained egg and cheese! - Edit
First time I ate here I found the staff brusk and rude. The food was average and portion small. I ate here a second time, asked for the vegan wrap to eat in. I tucked into it to find it full of egg and cheese. I took it back to the counter to ask if it was vegan, everyone looked cross with me, no apology and I was trust 1 euro (it cost 3.90) and given a vegan one.
Back in the day when I was a grad student here in Vienna, this was one of the few vegetarian places in the whole city. I am thrilled that it's still here, and better than ever. You can order the "plate of the day", which consists of a main dish and three salads of your choice, or just do a la carte salad plates, soups, fresh juices, and lovely pastries, all made out of whole-grain spelt flour. A lot of things on the menu are gluten free (none of the pastries though, sadly, because I remember them fondly from my pre-GF student days)and everything is clearly indicated as being vegetarian or vegan. Everything is self-service and there's quite a bit of seating outside in the summer, and a few seats inside in the winter. You can also do take-away.
The description says that reservations are required, but that's not the case. You can just come - though in the winter you might end up having to wait a bit for a seat.
If you're staying in Vienna for a few days and need to stock up on gluten-free items, they have a few in the health food store part of the shop ("Reformhaus" means "health food store").
Lovely food in health food shop. All vegan/vegetarian. Lots of different salads, suop of the day, and a couple of daily dishes to choose from. Very reasonably priced. Cakes looked yummy -and big!- but did not try them myself. Great for warm, hearty vegetarian lunches. Eating area is tucked away in corner, away from the shop part of the place, that is nice. Lots of locals eating here. Dont get here to late in the day, though, if you want more dishes to choose from.

Sehr gut und urig - Edit
Eine riesige Rohkostsalatauswahl, tolle Gerichte, sehr gute Auswahl. Plätze sind wenige vorhanden, man isst quasi im Reformhaus. Absolut faire Preise.
