Delicious and good value for money

We went for the full mix bowl £10 which had all the curries/dishes and had the choice of cous cous or bread. I opted for bread as I love this bread and texture.

Great food, quick and tasty.

Pros: Traditional food , Value for money , 100% vegan

Sambosa!

Their sambosa are amazing value, with two flavours to choose from - and so filling, healthy and delicious - I'm looking forward to having some more of their food when I next head down to Woolwich/Greenwich - lucky to have this on my doorstep!

So unique!

I absolutely loved the bowl I got at Vegan Camp Out this year. Especially the fermented “pancake” isn’t like anything I’ve ever tried before. The lovely staff topped mine with some pickled chili which is one of my favorite condiments, so that’s a huge bonus. The intensity of the curry went incredibly well with the freshness of the spinach. I honestly don’t understand why there is no queue for this stall. The curries taste the same/very similar, but still; would recommend to a friend😄

Pros: Unique flavours, Nice staff

Massive fan. Delicious food and super wholesome.

I am (un)fortunate enough to trade next to Red Tent at various markets. I say unfortunate as I can’t ever resist the delicious food bubbling away. Super tasty.

Spicy Nourishing Food

I eat Red Tent food at Vegan camp out. It was fantastic and delicious compared to the vegan 'junk' food that was around.

The owner Helen was delight to deal with and made sure we got great portions. I have never eaten Ethiopian food before so this was a first and I must have eat about 3 times at their stall because it was my first choice 'real' food.

Never too late for good vegan food

Having visited this stall a few times at Greenwich Market, years ago, it was lovely to see them at Royal Arsenal Summer Lates; on 5th August 2023. We enjoyed a mixed bowl over rice, with some injera flatbread.

Delicious Ethiopian food

This vendor now seems to be a regular fixture at the St James Piccadilly food market on Wed & Thurs lunch times. The food is absolutely delicious, lots of variety and generous portions, this definitely fills you up! They are really friendly too

Amazing Samosas

This food truck is located right next to the restaurant Hazev and very close to the Hilton hotel in Discovery Dock West, Canary Wharf (if it's the right one- since the truck we went to looked a bit different but is also called Red tent Ethiopia). We chose the mixed bowl with rice and took 10 lentil-filled Samosas to take with. The lady who sold us the food was quite friendly and we liked it a lot. The portion filled well and the Samosas which we ate later were great. Good value for money.

Pros: Friendly staff, Good value for money, Seating options

Cons: Not a big choice

Huge Portion, Full of Flavour

Went to Greenwich Market and came across this stall. It is £7 for a selection of various vegan spicy dishes that included lentils, chickpeas, various vegetables and a choice with rice, couscous or Injera (type of flatbread). The meal also came with 3 x Sombosa. It is a huge Portion for £7, very good value and the flavours were AMAZING!!

Vegan Ethiopian

Often go here.
As per other comment, I agree there isn’t as much flavour as you would hope expect, given all the individual dishes that are in the meals served

Pros: Fully vegan, Good portion size, Pickles are good

Cons: Quite bland, Samosas particularly boring and oily.

Great value

At the time of writing a pot of varied dishes and rice, injera or couscous was £7. You get a massive amount of medium spicy food. I enjoyed it but watch out for the red oil!

Pros: All vegan , Great value, Filling and spicy

Fully vegan lunch vendor in CW

Location is just across the South Quay footbridge from Canary Wharf. They do not have a registered location on google maps, but the happycow loction pin is accurate. There are several food trucks parked there and it isnt difficult to find.

The food very filling but it isnt overly exciting terms of flavour. Imo very much like watered down Indian food. Ask for chilli pickles to spice things up.

Pros: fully vegan food truck, good value

Cons: Rather bland

My favourite stall at Greenwich Market

You can get a full box of rice and selection of stews/currys for £6. The portion is massive and food very filling

Pros: Cheap

Best value

This stall has been in Greenwich Market for years, long before being vegan became trendy. The food is lovely, fresh, tasty, filling and great value. If you want something wholesome, filling and value for money then this is the stall for you. I go to the market often and always vow to get something different to eat, but am always drawn back to this stall. The people are always friendly and the portions are generous. Don't forget to ask for pickle if you have the mixed box.

Pros: Tasty, Filling, Value for money

Cons: You will never want to try any other stalls., You will be so full if you eat the lot.

Good food

The food was good, but no more than good for me. The food hit the spot, but wasn’t overly exciting or overly tasty.
