Still My Favorite- Cash Only Though

Just want to note these guys have gone cash only- which was kind of sudden. If it’s a cost thing suggest they go back to allowing cards and just collect a surcharge.

I found this restaurant using HappyCow, and wasn’t disappointed. The menu is dominated by WFPB options, and includes a nice mix of healthy and more indulgent options. I went for the dal (apparently using a recipe from the owner’s parents) and felafel wrap. The dal was good, the wrap was exceptional. I also had a ginger soda, which was seriously gingery… and a Belgian beer. The waitress told me they frequently have live music and open mic nights. Great to see them building community.

Yummy Office Lunch

My colleagues ordered this falafel wrap for me when the lunch offered was not vegan friendly. The wrap was delightfully tasty and fresh, and included a great coleslaw.

Worth a meal or two.

Cosy restaurant with a fully plant based menu, Red room rendezvous is a perfect stop for a meal. With a variety of options including coffees, alcohol, appetiser, main course and desserts with good value for money.

Artsy, welcoming atmosphere and deliciously plant-based

Had our beautiful Thanksgiving set dinner in this fantastic space filled with stylish artwork throughout. Can’t wait to come back again and try other food. Also looking forward to enjoying more performing arts events.

Pros: Artsy space, Awesome food, Alcoholic beverages available

Cons: Servers may be busy when everyone wants to chat, Performances not always available

Super delicious, modern vegan cuisine

Especially their Vednesday Menus are awesome. But also their a la carte menu is tasty and we never had a dish we didn’t like.

The ambience feels like being somewhere in Europe - very Laisser-faire and stylish.

Pros: Modern vegan cuisine, Super tasty, Nice ambience

One of the best in town!

Everything I’ve tried is so flavourful and delicious! The vegan pulled pork is amazing, as is the vegan egg salad sandwich. And I can’t get enough of the tomato soup! I can’t wait to work my way through the whole menu. It’s a really cozy space, too, with events happening often. Definitely a favourite of mine!
