Good diner if you are in the area

Had to ask for the vegan menu, ours didn’t have the insert. Food was pretty good. Came with soup which was nice.

An excellent choice for everyone!

There is a full page of vegan options here, which for a diner in the middle of NJ, is pretty impressive. Each item comes with a vegan soup of the day included. I had the power bowl, my partner has the “Not-cho” cheesesteak and we shared quesadillas. Each dish was HUGE! You can definitely share which might make sense for some with the higher prices. Power bowl was very fresh feeling and satisfying. My partner enjoyed the cheesesteak. We both thought the quesadillas were very bland.

Pros: Lots of vegan options that are large/shareable, Convenient location and something for everyone , Pretty fresh feeling ingredients

Cons: Would prefer smaller portions and cheaper prices , A little blander than I hoped but still yummy

.Great diner experience.

Flavorful diner food with no major flaws. If you have a favorite item, check the menu before going. Not cheap or expensive, but the food is big enough for a dinner in my opinion.

Pros: Always know you're getting something good, Barely need to ask staff anything

Cons: Menu changes a lot and not everything is in stock, Not much outside of lunch & dinner main course

Typical diner food but with many vegan choices

If you missed diner food since you became vegetarian/vegan, this is the place for you. More than a dozen vegan choices and all come with a vegan soup of the day. About half the vegan menu are some variation of Beyond Burger or Beyond Meatballs, and the others are more your traditional vegan choices. They carry a couple of vegan cheeses so they do pizzas and cheez steaks as well.

Pros: Several vegan choices

Good vegan menu!

They have a pretty good assortment of vegan food here, but my absolute favorite is definitely the power bowl! It's always tasty and delicious, and stands out from the rest of their offerings. The staff is always friendly too.

Not bad

I got a seitan cheesesteak and quesadilla with tofu, avocado, vegan cheese and onions. The quesadilla was delicious, but the cheesesteak was very dry and didn’t have enough cheese on it #Veganuary

Pros: Decent sized vegan menu, Variety of options, Quesadilla was delicious

Cons: It’s still diner food , Dry cheesesteak

Our favorite local place

If you are missing that classic diner experience as a vegan, then this place is for you. They have an entire vegan menu and offer free vegan soup of the day with all entres. The pricing is fair for the portion sizes (which are enormous) and I always have leftovers for lunch the next day. They even offer vegan desserts. Would give it 5 stars if happy cow let me. By far our favorite local place to grab a bite.

Great options

It’s hard to find vegan options while camping but this hit the spot! Didn’t get our soup so that’s why only 4 stars.

Why didn’t I come here sooner 😻

I took a leap of faith and ordered the seitan gyro and fries. It actually came with fries. The side order tastes drastically better than the ones that came with.

The gyro was tasty and fresh. The soup was amazing! Filled with great flavor. I was impressed, can you tell? 🤪

I shall make another visit soon.

Pros: The vegan options aren’t just “thrown” together. , Affordable , Meal comes w vegan soup

Surprising options for a typical diner

I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of options offered at this diner. It’s so great that they have a vegan and vegetarian menu. I ordered the eggless veggie omelette, which was made using grilled tofu and a variety of fresh vegetables. I spent the extra money for the vegan cheese. With the addition of the home fried potatoes and bread, it was a huge meal. I couldn’t finish half of it. This is a good place to stop if you’re in the area or on your way to Atlantic City.

Update: I tried the Tu-no sandwich platter. It needed a little salt and pepper, but overall it is still a good option if you are looking for something without seitan or beyond burger.

Surprisingly diverse vegan options in a New Jersey diner

The "Vegan & Vegetarian Friendly Specials" menu is all-vegan and has 17 interesting items to choose from. These aren't side dishes, they're full meals, and in New Jersey diner tradition, the portions are big enough to stuff yourself with just half of the main course and then box the rest for later consumption. They all come with a cup of the vegan soup du jour (and supposedly with a vegan muffin for dessert, but mine never came and I forgot to ask about it because I was already past my limit). I chose the power bowl, with stuffed grape leaves, avocado, tomatoes, cucumbers, Tu-No (faux tuna, which was tasty), chick peas, beets, grilled tofu, homemade Greek dressing, hummus, and pita. Delicious, fresh, nicely prepared, and as I've already said, served in generous portions. The soup was a barley tomato concoction that also was tasty and satisfying. Excellent service. Rain-or-shine outdoor seating under a canopy.

Pros: Imaginative vegan entrees, Authentic New Jersey diner atmosphere, Generous portions

Great Food on the way to the Shore!

Perfectly placed for shore traffic, this diner made the bold (and smart) step to offer not just some vegan food, but a vegan menu. Featuring the Beyond Burger, locally-made seitan, bean dishes, and farm-to-table fresh produce, it's a winner for the whole family.
The gyro sandwich, tofu pasta primavera, and seitan marsala are all great. It's a diner, though and lots on the vegan menu is in that mold meaning it's "comfort" food and not really healthy: fried, processed stuff. Still, it's a fine place to go as a destination, or on the way to the Pine Barrens or the Shore. And the whole damn family can eat there, no matter their nutritional or culinary desires.

Pros: Great selection, Easy to change ingredients/substitute, Very nice staff!

Cons: Some prices a bit high, Crappy" fried, processed stuff. It's a diner. , Gets really busy at peak travel or meal times.
