Let’s get Red Fort! - Edit
Delicious vegan and vegetarian cuisine. Plenty of options. Would hands down recommend to any visitor who loves Indian cuisine. The naan, masala, curry, and rice are very good! 😋

Always a great meal! - Edit
Red Fort is one of my favorite places to eat in St George. The food is always delicious. I have never had a bad meal and they have a good selection of vegan dinners. All items are clearly labeled as vegan or vegetarian. We usually get the same things since we always like it. ( Naan, Aloo Gobi, Channa Masala and sometimes the Vegetable Samosas) This last time, we order a few different items. Coconut Tofu ( DELICIOUS), Vegetable Briyani ( good but not my favorite) and Garlic Naan. The rice they serve is perfect as well. They also have a decent beer and wine selection. Nothing fancy. I would highly recommend Red Fort.

Best Indian Food In St George - Edit
I ate here with some colleagues, and everything was delicious. We ordered family style and what we thought was the perfect amount of food but had loads of leftovers. It worked out well because one of our colleagues got covid on the trip and had to quarentine in his hotel room. So we made him a big plate of takeout. Even with his partial loss of taste, he said he enjoyed the meal too.

Pros: Can accomodate large groups, Friendly servers & staff, Lots of variety

Very Mild - Edit
I really wanted to give it 4 (maximum) stars. I ordered the Veggie Kurma. Like others have said there are many vegan options and clearly labeled in the menu. I was with all omnivores and we all thought the food was not spicy, even the selections we choose that were medium spice. Back home in California when I order Indian food I can barely eat the mild spice, it is so spicy. I ordered mild spice and unfortunately it was so mild it was almost bland. I wish I could combine the two levels and get it just right level of spice when I order mild 🤷🏻♀️. The place was packed and very popular with locals, so I think I am just used to more spicy food. By the way, there were 6 of us and they gave us a catering sized tray of rice. We’ll have rice for days, so that’s a plus

Excellent vegan Indian food - Edit
This restaurant has many vegan options. I had the yellow daal, which was very tasty. The vegetable samosa was also very good. Even though it was fried, it wasn’t greasy. Overall, the food was of high quality.

Loved their curries, naan, pakoda, and samosa. Be wary of their spice levels - hot is Indian hot! Very flavorful food.

I love the food and make a point of visiting this restaurant every time I visit St. George. This time I tried the mixed vegetable curry and daal maharani. It was delicious. Go during off hours to avoid crowds.

I wish I could rate this place 5 stars. - Edit
This place is a top tier vegan restaurant. It is hard to appease my whole family when going out to eat, and all vegan restaurants don’t always sound appealing to my group. This is in my opinion, one of the best types of vegan restaurants that exists. Amazing and knowledgeable waitstaff, a well marked menu, incredible food, and gluten free as well. TRY IT OUT!!!!

Very good - Edit
Food was tasty and the staff was kind. There was a separate veggie menu with clearly marked Vegan options for each course. We went for an early dinner, so it was not crowded and we didn’t need reservations.

Stayed across the street from this great spot that had well marked and delicious vegan options. They also had an impressive wine list which was a bit unexpected for the area.

Just meh. - Edit
The rave reviews are totally lost on me. The channa masala tasted like chickpeas in pasta sauce. My husband’s aloo gobi was bland. The garlic naan was ok. The portion sizes were small. More like what I’d expect a lunch size to be. Overall, a disappointment especially given how highly they’re rated.

Very tasty Indian food with lots of vegan 🌱 options that are well marked. - Edit
Well marked vegan options at this very busy and popular spot in St. George. The owner of Red Fort is the brother of the owner of locally famous Bombay House of Salt Lake City. We ordered online for take out and were very happy we did as the crowds were HUGE for dine in on a Friday night. Recommend doing the same unless you are ready for a very crowded restaurant. Recommend the samosas, Aloo Gobi, and mixed vegetable curry. Perhaps skip the Chana masala (just chickpeas in a very sweet/mild sauce) unless that is your thing. It wasn’t as impressive. Naan and chutneys were delicious. We would return when back in the area for their dedicated vegan menu options.

Many options here! - Edit
This is an excellent restaurant in Southern Utah very close to Zion. St. George is not a big city so we were nervous we wouldn’t be able to find a restaurant. We were on a road trip and were worried that we would be eating microwave rice from Family dollar if we couldn’t find a place with it being Labor Day weekend. There was no wait when we got there. Our server was helpful and attentive. I ordered Aloo Gobi (Cauliflower and Potatoes) with garlic naan and it was delicious. The samosas were also great. Also enjoyed the large space and authentic atmosphere. Highly recommend for traveling vegans.

AMAZING, very vegan friendly - Edit
Very vegan-friendly, affordable, and cute. We ordered the coconut tofu, nan (garlic, onion, and plain) vegetable samosas, and aloo mattar. The onion nan and the coconut tofu were favorites, although everything was delicious. When ordering spicy, it is SPICY. We’re spice enthusiasts and ordered “hot” instead of “very hot”. They did not cheap out on the heat. The veggie samosas were very crunchy, but tasty. The homemade fort lime drink was non-alcoholic and amazing. Would rate 5 stars if Happy Cow let me.
