Tofu scramble available as a side. Open Mon-Thu 7:00am-8:00pm, Fri 7:00am-9:00pm, Sat 8:00am-8:30am, Sun 9:00am-6:00pm.

Could be a lot better - Edit

Was so happy to see vegan options for breakfast as we had a hard time finding places in Charlottetown. Landed on this one because of the full breakfast option. We order the Receiver Breakfast ($15 CAD) and was super excited when food arrived but unfortunately the flavour was not there. Nothing on toast, had to ask for jam or something, which made it better of course but the bread was super hard and over toasted making it hard to eat. The maple ‘sausage’ was actually decent but the tofu scramble just had a weeeeirrrd flavour. Husband and I both love tofu scramble but they added something to it that made it undesirable. Potatoes were okay, not much flavour. All around pretty disappointed 😓

Pros: Nice atmosphere

Cons: Expensive , Under seasoned

Great coffee! - Edit

I enjoyed a lovely soy cappuccino and two tasty peanut butter power balls here. It’s nice to see vegan treats available at coffee shops.

Pros: Some vegan treats, Specialty drinks can be made with non-dairy milk

Cons: Not fully vegan

Hot Chocolate and Vegan Treats - Edit

Receiver offers almond and soy milk for drinks. Their chocolate sauce happens to be dairy free so you can get vegan hot chocolate! Not super rich, but still a decent hot chocolate. I didn’t try the treats but they had vegan twix, date squares and haystacks. They also have a couple of vegan options on their menu like sandwiches and a smoothie bowl.
