Favorite coffee shop in Newport! - Edit

My boyfriend's mom lives in Newport beach and I have gone with him the last two years to visit, and this is our favorite coffee spot. I typically drink coffee black, as I work in specialty coffee back home and can say the coffee here is delicious on its own. We usually get cold brews, and they have a "juicy" series which they infused the cold brew with dried fruit and it's delicious! I had a pour over once last year, and took some beans home and those were awesome as well. If you drink specialty coffee black, this is the place to go. I also tried a vegan donut, and though it was small, it was delicious!

Pros: Vegan pastries available , Different plant milks available , Delicious black coffee

Cons: Tables dirty when it's very busy (understandable)

Good Chai - Edit

With almond milk. Good americano, hubby said good, not great. We both had a scone. Nothing to write home about.

Good Donuts, Okay Coffee - Edit

I ordered an iced vanilla latte and a caramel chocolate coconut donut. The latte was around $7 with the oatmilk and vanilla syrup upcharge. For that price, I'd expect a really good latte but it was just okay. I could hardly taste the vanilla and it was fairly bitter. However, they had quite a few pastries and milk alternatives so that's always appreciated. The donut was really quite good, but they're a little small and $3 a pop.

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Nice staff , Cute inside

Cons: One drink size, Pricey, Parking can be difficult
