Almost missed out - Edit
I’m from out of town and my navigation system took me to the side of the building that is empty/ for rent. Because there is a RD sign on that side if the building I thought they’d cleared out. So glad I drove around back to exit - glazed donut made me wonder why all donuts aren’t vegan.

Yummy doughnuts - Edit
Came here at 1:30pm on a Sunday afternoon and had a selection of 4 different kinds of clearly labeled vegan doughnut: Apple fritter, maple, chocolate, and lemon filled. While I was there, picked up a vegan hot chocolate. So excited to find constantly yummy doughnuts, just wish there were more options!

Donuts are pretty good - Edit
The vegan donuts they offer are clearly marked. They are pretty good too. I think Two Boys donuts are better though, they just don’t offer as many vegan donuts.

Yay! Vegan donuts - Edit
My partner was SO excited to have a vegan apple fritter. I felt the same about a Boston cream-filled one. Both were delicious. Non-vegan friends said the non-vegan ones were great too.

This place makes you feel human again 😊 - Edit
Literally the first time I’ve had coffee and v donuts together. There’s a shelf of clearly labeled vegan options so you don’t feel silly searching through and asking what’s vegan

Cons: Not as cool flavors as the non-v options

Go there early! - Edit
I've never been inside the store (my partner always picks them up), but I've had their donuts multiple times now. The earlier the better, as they sell out quick! Sooooooo good:)

YUM Vegan Donuts - Edit
I visited in September and I plan to return in November. Will update if there are any significant details to add. They had seven (7) vegan donut/fritter choices and I got a dozen. Went in the 11 am hour on a Sunday. No significant line. There was, however, a creepy customer behind me, a lady and her two (2) daughters who kept staring. I looked at them in the faces to see if they had something to say, but nope. Then when they were seated at a table they kept staring some more so I announced, "They keep staring!" But they didn't say anything. So weird. Otherwise, great experience. However, the cross street is Claremont Ave. NE, not Comanche Rd. (as suggested by the mini-map.)

Cons: A creepy customer (lady with two daughters.), They sell non-vegan donuts as well (why?), Could use more space by the counter.

They usually have 4-5 vegan donuts. Most of the time they’re sold out of 1 vegan donuts.

Vegan Options - Edit
I like that they offer vegan options here, but I’ve had much better donuts. When I came in they had a toasted coconut, chocolate glazed, apple pie, and regular glazed. The chocolate was fine, but it had an unpleasant taste in the dough. The apple pie dough had a much better taste, but the filling wasn’t that flavorful, it was basically sugar and apples. I know those are two main ingredients in apple pie, but it had really no cinnamon, or any of the other flavors you’d find in apple pie. I would skip coming here unless you’re a donut aficionado and want to try vegan donuts from around the country. The upside is that these donuts are priced well, about $1.50 (with tax) each and they have two locations now if you’re really craving a donut. Otherwise I’d skip it.

THE BEST DONUTS!! - Edit
Rebel Donut’s is a must go if you’re in the Rio Rancho/ Albuquerque Area. They have at least 3 vegan options daily, but every time I’ve gone there has been 4-5. I recommend going early because the vegan donuts go fast. Also you you can call in to reserve donuts or make a special order 24hrs in advance.

Vegan Donuts - Edit
They showcase a lot more than three Vegan donuts. The problem is that if you get there after 9AM most of the Vegan donuts are gone.

They had two different Vegan Apple Fritters to choose from, one mixed with raspberry.
They had Vegan glazed and Vegan Chocolate covered.
They had Vegan Pumpkin Spice Filling Donuts
They had Vegan Chocolate Covered Cream filled donuts, my wife's favorite.
So that was 6 Vegan Donut selections to choose from.
But I went to Rebel Donut at 7AM.
Vegans in the know, (okay someone just told me this today) call and order theirs the night before to be put aside for when they show up the following morning.
Pros: Amazing Vegan Donuts, Amazing Vegan Donuts, Amazing Vegan Donuts
Cons: Really far from my house., There is always a line

the best vegan donuts! - Edit
I've had quite a few vegan donuts in my time. I've lived in socal almost my entire life, trying a number of different places that carried donuts, and I've been to the iconic Ronald's donuts in Las Vegas a couple times, but I honestly think these are the best donuts, vegan and non vegan, I've ever had. I've been to both locations although happy cow only shows this one, I've been to the second one twice and this one once. Every time they've had at least 3 vegan donuts, last time they actually had 6 different flavors. Some classic flavors, and some really fun ones. If you ever come across the guava it's a must-have. The shop is cute and always busy. Everyone has been friendly and attentive. Prices are amazing, classic donuts coming out to $1 and fancy $1.60. No extra charge for the vegan ones! They also carry non dairy milks for coffee. I will come here again and again, reliable and so damn good.
