Awesome!

So glad to find this place. I eat a mainly vegan diet and have gluten sensitivity. There are very few restaurants that I can enjoy without having a gluten or dairy reaction. I had waffles with a fruit sauce and oatmeal cookies here yesterday. My husband had the avocado toast and a Reuben sandwich. Everything was great!

Pros: All vegan, Lots of gluten free options , Lots of whole food plant based options

Excellent Food

Went there for lunch. My family highly recommends. My daughter had their chili, I had a salad and my husband had a pineapple jackfruit panini sandwich. All three were excellent and so flavorful. Portions were generous and the food was very fresh. Menu is quite large and you can’t go wrong. Prices are very fair.

Pros: All vegan, Very flavorful , Nice portion sizes.

Chill atmosphere and delicious vegan food.

This was my second time here at Real Roots. The red lentil chili was just what I needed! Their food is perfectly seasoned and made from whole foods. The chocolate brownie pie is to die for. I cannot wait to try their coffee, juices, and smoothie bowls.

Pros: All vegan menu, Nutritious filling food, Good variety

Delicious smoothie bowls!

We stopped by after going strawberry picking for some smoothie bowls, loved the Real Roots Bowl! Run by a husband and wife team who’ve created a charming cafe that exudes their personality and values, this is a wonderful place to stop if you’re in Fort O. They’ve also got great lunch meals like jackfruit sandwiches, but on a hot day, their drinks and smoothies are the magnet.

Nice local cafe

At bit of a detour on our route from Nashville to Atlanta, but worth the delay. Nice lunch options available; food was great. Run by a young couple, so when busy with a lot of customers service can back up a little, but certainly worth the time if you’ve got it.

Perfection!

This is a good as it gets!

I spent 3/4's of my life traveling the country...therefore seeing, experiencing quite a few restaurants. Eating healthy, more often than not, is a challenge.

Happened upon this wonderful cafe via the Happy Cow app. Being down the street from where I had business, I figured I would swing in and give them a try. I was extremely happy that I did. My business partner and I both agreed that this was the best food we had on this stint of the trip (which was started in November).

Trying to find this place could be challenging if you blink. The signage is weak, but don't give up. As the other reviews stated, it's next to a Papa John's on the left and a vacant store front on the right. There is a small led open sign. From the outside it's nothing to talk about.

Upon entering we were greeted by Matt. Matt was genuinely friendly. His passion for he and his wife's business definitely shined through. The decor was confortable, inviting, warm and modern.

I ordered the "Trail Fuel" smoothie & a nacho bowl with their homemade cheese (Cheeze). Both, spot on with flavor! The cheeze was the best cheeze I have ever had. I don't say this lightly, as we get our cheese directly from the factory in Appleton, WI.

I don't get to this area often, but selfishly hope that this lovely couple has much success!

Pros: Friendly, Great atmosphere , Wonderful food

Cons: East to drive past

food delicious, owners delightful

I’ll start out with the bad since the experience was overwhelmingly good. My family and I are full time travelers and we mostly shun the juice bar type of establishments. We want a tasty plant-based meal, not lite fare. We were under the impression that this was an actual restaurant and were somewhat disappointed by the limited hot options on the menu.

On the plus side, what we did have was delicious. We ordered the nachos which were surprisingly drowned in a chili-cheeze sauce which included quinoa which made it feel healthy while still being tasty. We also had a salad out of the cold case, also delicious. The salad ingredients were run of the mill but we were astounded by how good the dressing was. We also ordered a curry dish on the specials board - my memory is fuzzy on what was in it but we all three commented it was awesome. The two smoothies we ordered were very very good as well.

The owners were absolutely delightful to chat with while they were preparing our meal. The only thing we wished would be for more hot food options. As it is, you definitely get the hipster juice bar vibe when you go in and we know these two can do much more than that. We sort of got the feeling that we should be doing yoga or something zen like while waiting for our healthy food, and as vegans without yoga bodies or zen attitudes, we felt slightly out of our element in that regard. We will definitely be back as the food was very good for what it was. But we think this place has room for improvement and that the owners could really turn this into a top notch plant based restaurant with just a little more effort. As it stands, it’s a solid A

Pros: delicious food, chatty friendly owners

Cons: a bit pricey, limited hot options

Great place down south!

Visiting the south brings on some challenges being vegan but my mother in law pointed this place out for me to try. The couple who own it are very sweet and certified nutritionist/ health coaches.

My husband and I had the meal of the day chili with they’re homemade vegan cheese. Very filling and the cheese was creamy and delicious on top! I also had a green pineapple, spinach smoothie, very refreshing!
A great stop for light food and smoothies/ juice fix!

Pros: Plant based
