Delicious plant based food - Edit
What a pleasant surprise to find this gem in walking distance of my hotel. The owner was very friendly and offered me samples. All the samples were delicious and I had a difficult time trying to decide what to choose. I went with the Thai tacos…….they were absolutely delicious. I will go out of my way to eat here anytime I travel to Tampa. I highly recommend!

I love everything! This place does raw RIGHT. You'll want to try everything! The eggless salad is divine. It's tangy, it's creamy and the raw crackers that accompany it are delicious! The Thai tacos are extra special too! The orange screamcicle shake is SO yummy. They really take pride in their food. The place is SUPER clean! I would eat here daily if I could.

The owner was very welcoming. They gave us samples of some items to help us pick. We had southwestern tacos, Alfredo zucchini noodles, and dessert. The best thing we’re the crackers. Absolutely delicious. The dessert was great. The zucchini noodles were good. The tacos were good. I will be back soon!

My favorite raw restaurant! - Edit
Their smoothies and desserts are out of this world! My favorite treats the orange screamsicle smoothie, the bulletproof cashew energy balls, and their raw chocolate bars. All their entrees are raw and great, I love the egg-less pate wrap and the raw pizza slice. I always feel great after eating here and the staff is so friendly and kind.

First time in and prior to going I wasn’t sure about their menu. The owner immediately started explaining the menu, giving us samples and helping us decide. We got the Rawghetti in the alfredo sauce, the Raw Pizza Slice, and the Raw Tacos.

This place us seriously amazing!! The flavors are mind blowing. It's hard to believe that you can get the complexity of flavors with raw food! I ate at their St Pete location twice before coming here and this location is just as good and hada couple menu items the other didn't. The staff is really friendly too.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011 and I immediately changed my diet to alkaline which is almost completely vegetarian - 80% - which is what led me to this wonderful place. Not only is the raw pizza and cacao milkshake amazing but the education - if you’re interested - that goes along with the food here is wonderful from both owners, they’re happy to answer any questions you may have and they offer samples if you’re new to raw food. Buy the owner’s book when you stop in.

This place is absolutely delicious, and the Rawk Star team is so incredibly friendly. They really care about what they are doing and getting to know their customers. They make raw vegan food fun and exciting. This place is a refuge for those who are vegetarian and vegan in an area that lacks decent options, but also, it's a great option for those that aren't plant based. My mom moved here for a treatment center, and I know she will be coming here at least twice a week and she isn't even plant based!!

Who would have thought that wraps in collard greens would be so yummy too. My husband came with me and he even said that he was surprisingly happy with his wrap as well.

The desserts were out of this world. We chose raw ice cream and key lime cheese cake. Divine!
An excellent place to stop off for your raw super foods, with ample products to purchase.
Sit in or take out.

A Wonderful Lunch at Rawk Star Cafe! - Edit
Nearly noon, visiting Dunedin, and my wife and I were getting hungry. Checking Happycow, I found we were just 15 minutes from an organic raw restaurant! (Or would have been with accurate guidance, but the directions showed it south of Tampa Rd., instead of just north, where it actually is.) There's a counter along one wall, with some seating and large menu boards on the wall, and small tables along the other wall. As we stood looking at the menu boards, one server pointed out that the other server was reviewing the menu with another customer, so we joined the seminar. She gave us each small tastes of several menu items - very tasty! - reviewed menu options and answered any questions we had. Like many raw restaurants, some items were composed largely of nuts, while we prefer veggie ingredients as well. Not to worry, they have that, too. I had the Raw Burger Platter and my wife ordered the Raw Pizza Slice, both of which had lots of vegetables and more seeds than nuts, and lots of flavor and texture. The Burger Platter had a unique "dehydrated onion ring" on each of the two small sandwiches, which was really more like a small onion slice dried to a surprisingly crispy state. When the owner brought our order, he advised that even though they set it on top, like a garnish, he likes it when it's put inside, and I agree! The pizza slice came practically hidden under an avalanche of shredded carrot (a good thing, we like carrots), and the thin crust was so crisp that when I tasted it I wondered aloud about how long they must have dehydrated it to achieve that texture.

The prices are not low, but very reasonable given the labor- and time-intensiveness of raw food, and the quality and taste of the food. I just wish Rawk Star Café was close to where we live!
