The food was as good as the venue was beautiful. The vegan lasagne and the pizza were delicious, portions were stylish and the size was perfect, since it left a little room in our tummies to try out the dessert platter as well. The chocolate ganache was amazing! Very lovely experience! The prices surely are a bit higher than Cape Town standards, but it's all worth it.

Found this place close to my hotel in Cape Town and was so happy! Great food with a selection from breakfast to lunch/dinner (pizza, pasta, lasagne etc), desserts and juices. Will definitely visit again!

Firstly lovely lovely staff, the concept and setup is great. If you looking for a raw vegan more classy experience this is the place . Loads of options , I had their speciality coffee it was good, my husband had the smoothie delicious, I had the crepes they were good I just battled to cut them, my husband had the tapas plate was amazing! It just had a lovely energy.

The pleasant scents of fresh juice had drawn me into Raw & Roxy. The smell of freshly squeezed apple juice gives such a refreshing aroma to the cafe.
Read moreI spoke to Beatrix who is the owner and manager of the place. She recommended some hot chocolate like drink called Rocket fuel which had over 50 ingredients one of which was some mushroom. It was a delicious smooth drink, can't imagine so many ingredients went into it.
Her cafe is like a natural food healing clinic with ingredients selected to optimise good health.
I thoroughly enjoyed it and hope to go there next time to try a meal.

I expected a bit more from the meal I ordered. Bland to the point of boredom.
One can almost assume the cook has a hostile relationship with veggies.

The ambience of this place is lovely and the service is as well. The menu is diverse and interesting. Rating my order though, the raw crepe was incredibly hard to eat - very sticky and almost uncuttable. Next time I'd opt for one of their savory options.

If you are looking for delicious, raw food, this is the place! I had the tapas platter (a sampler of several dishes) and it was so yummy! The only slight downfall was the amount of oil used in the dishes but that's because we are used to eating food cooked with very little oil. All in all, a wonderful experience!

Incredible food, incredible smoothies and incredible dessert. You forget that you're eating completely raw food and once you remember you're in awe at how they can pack so much flavour into it. Incredible stuff. Would definitely go there again.

Best raw pasta dish I can remember - Edit
I'm not that big on raw food but this place gets it right. Their spiralised zucchini spaghetti dish had a beautiful green pesto sauce, with the added fun of crispy bits of kale chips. Yum. I liked that they offered a tapas option too, so you can try a bunch of things from the menu. Nice warehouse space with open plan kitchen giving off zesty and delicious aromas, and a gallery at the back with various paintings. Note that they really are committed to the raw philosophy and hence you can't get any traditional hot drinks or coffee here!

I didn't feel like eating raw food when I arrived to Cape Town but Raw and Roxy was the closest vegan place to my hostel. I wasn't disappointed though. I order lasagne and a green smoothie which I had trouble to eat all and filled me up for the rest of the day.
