Super tasty food - Edit
Very tasty food. A little bit expensive, but definitely worth it. I've been here several times and I especially like the kimchi, the broccoli and the crispy rolls.

Solid! - Edit
I had a very good meal here. The menu items are written on paper and hung on the wall. You place your order at the counter and then they bring it out to you. Everything is in Swedish, so I needed it translated. I got the noodle salad, which was tasty rice noodles with a chopped up egg roll and some very tasty seitan and veggies. I also got the lunch basket, which was fried dumplings and a couple of bao buns. Tasty!

Super nice food & outdoor seating - Edit
Really nice spot in Malmö, set on a calm side lane with a park right in front. Service was super nice and helpful and explained all dishes to us before ordering. Portion size is quite decent, you would order different small and medium sized dishes and the whole tables shares. We really enjoyed the fried tofu and gyozas. Anyhow all food was super tasty & also enjoyed by non-vegans.

Stunningly good - Edit
Utterly delicious ‘small’ plates, that are actually generous! We had fried dumplings with a gorgeous soy sauce reduction, broccoli with fermented tofu sauce, tofu kung po (with properly flavoured crispy tofu cubes), a big plate of yummy noodles and little rice bowls. Everything was fabulous. Great staff, buzzy atmosphere. Loved it

Rau - Edit
Definetely one of the best restaurants in Malmö! I love that it's fully vegan and the menu changes frequently so that one gets to try out some new things quite often! It's pricey but 100% worth it.

Delicious Asian fusion - Edit
Lots of tasty small dishes – it could be a good idea to share several dishes family style. The broccoli with peanuts and fermented tofu is a favorite!

Gott och trevligt - Edit
Mycket god mat, vi åt Nasi goreng, friterad blomkål och broccoli, gott att dela på. Mellanrätter, men vi två blev mätta på av två rätter och en dessert. Bra drinkar. Väldigt trevlig servicepersonal.

High quality food with delicious taste! - Edit
The food is fit for fine dining, that's matching the prize - but the resturant itself is a little bit too small and noisy to classify as fine dining.
Read moreI love the food because of the quality, texture and taste. The portion size is perfect to enjoy several dishes. You need to taste the orange wine, it's amazing.
Pros: Quality food, Orange wine, Portion sizes
Cons: Too crammed with tables and chairs, Noisy

2 out of 3 dishes we did not eat. One was uneatable, due to massive salt overload. The next was too hard to chew, way too hot (chili) and also too much salt again but not as bad.
Read moreThe 3rd dish was just super delicious! We tried to tell them about the obvious problems, as constructive feedback, as we actually want rau to succeed.
Pros: That one dish that was actually good , Good location, All vegan
Cons: The menu was a mess, The food was mostly bad, Waiter was not very professional

Simple and delicious - Edit
Popped in for lunch as visiting Malmo and they had a simple lumch menu: Wok noodles, bao buns and noodle salad. We went for the bao buns and wok noodles and were not disappointed. Very flavoursome and not greasy as some Asian food can be. Good portion sizes and reasonable price too. Was too hungry to take photos :-(

We are regulars! - Edit
We come here once a month at least and bring new people with us everytime in order to bless them with all deliciousness that Rau has. Everything we have tried has been spectacular so far
Read more***** Updated review - the summer menu is genuinely ridiculous. Incredibly expensive, nothing good left and the tiniest portions ever. All 8 of us were shocked when we received 5 dumplings for 135 kronor. Not even some rice to fill up with. Back with old Rau!

Rudely turned away - Edit
The person ahead of us was seated right away, but we were told shortly that they were full. We couldn’t wait or order takeout; we could only “check back later.” No thanks. I’ve never been turned away so bluntly in my life.

I‘m still thinking about this food - Edit
This was excellent, absolut vegan magic!
Read moreSuper high quality, creative menu and executed flawlessly.
Like ... how do they make their sauce taste like this without actual fish sauce? How do they make the texture of their seitan mock meats soooo juicy and good?? My mind is still blown.
Really skilled person on the wok as well, all the dishes prepared in it had a prominent ‚wok hei‘ (breath of the wok), extremely tasty!
I‘ll be back for sure for the food and to taste through their drinks menu as well, since this I couldn‘t test yet.
Pros: Excellent mock meats, Menu items, Ambience
Cons: Desserts could be more exciting, More non-alc drinks would be nice
