A cool venue for tea, not much in the way of vegan options - Edit
Friendly staff and great drinks. Limited options are good. Getting better, but still has a ways to go to better accommodate vegans.

Tasty fine dining Burmese - Edit
Lovely fine dining atmosphere in a very nice setting. There were a few veg options (salads, samosas and curry). The aubergine curry was very tasty - especially the soup that was included in the set!
Read moreThe curry set plus a tea cake to MMK 15,000 (approx $8 in Jan ‘20) which is reasonable for Western prices but pretty expensive compared to a typical meal in SE Asia, especially as the portions were not huge. It’s very busy during peak times, but it’s a good option if you’d like somewhere more upmarket and touristy whisky in Yangon.
Cons: Service a little slow , Expensive compared to typical meal

Vegan options very poor - Edit
The only item that is vegan is Burmese fried rice. Service asked chef for other option but only confirmed fried rice. They also don't have soy milk or other plant-based options for tea or coffee.

It was ok - Edit
We went there only because we were meeting some friends. We wouldn't usually choose these kind of places, but when we got there it was rammed! We quickly realised this is where all the tourists are. BUT we weren't blown away by the food. We had tea leaf salad and chapati, which were small portions. We probably should have tried more on the menu, but we didn't want to pay the prices as there are other good local veggie options near by! The mint and lime soda was good though!😄

Cons: Expensive for the area, Not a lot of vegan choice

Most legit samusas! - Edit
As someone from Burmese descent who grew up eating samusas, I feel qualified enough to say that the potato samusas here are bomb!
Read moreI also ordered a very delicious eggplant salad. I'm always a little downhearted when I see that salads are some of the only vegan options on a menu but this eggplant salad showed me that salads needn't be boring or tasteless. This was a salad done more than right!
There aren't many vegan options aside from the salads, but I found it pretty easy to put together a full sized meal from different side dishes and appetisers. The staff are also happy to accomodate.
Note that this place is popular with foreigners for doing authentic Myanmar food in an upmarket style so it can get quite busy.
Pros: Authentic tasting Myanmar food, Decently priced (for an Australian exchange rate)
Cons: Not many vegan options besides salads

Quali-tea Modern Burmese Cuisine - Edit
Marked vegetarian items on menu. Vegans will need assistance from staff. We found this a little challenging — not the most helpful staff we've encountered — but overall service was efficient despite a full house, and food was tasty. Worth a visit.

Super Sunday atmosphere - Edit
Came here on Sunday morning. Packed and buzzing. Really cool vibe. About 20 choices for exactly how you like your tea, mixing tea, condensed milk, etc. Enough veggie options to be happy. Come here for the atmosphere. Be aware that this authentic food, with many Burmese customers. However, it is not a 'very local' place. It is applying the art of the teahouse to the middle and upper echelons of Yangon society. And it does this in style :-).

Best Burmease food - Edit
Fine dining quality food in casual hip setting. Menu features dishes that can be made vegan (ask manager, they have the best best understanding of vegan requests). The vegetable bryiani was fantastic! Made with jack fruit and cashews. The eggplant curry was the perfect amount of spice and flavor. They were able to make it gluten free without cracker topping. Expect to spend about $10 for a great meal.
