Tasty and verifiable option

I don’t know if the tacos were good or I was just starving, but I was happy afterwards!

Pretty decent vegan taco

Cauliflower tacos here are vegan! Pretty decent but not the best I've ever had. Was a little soggy.

UPDATE Nov 2024 - now serves the soyrizo con papa's tacos! Absolutely delicious

soy chorizo tacos

The only vegetarian option was soy chorizo con papas tacos. Overall review was "meh." They were just okay. They were bland and not spicy. They would have been a little better if there was an option to top with cheese, sour cream and hot sauce.

Pros: labeled as "plant based" dish

Cons: bland

Pretty good for quick service!

When I want something healthier, this is always a great spot! They have bean and rice with veggies and guac! Agh it’s great! You can get the cauliflower tacos but we get the big taco bowl and add the cauliflower to it! It’s great!! A lot of times I can actually share this with my fiance and we’ll be fine! When it’s the end of the night too and all the resultants are full or booked out, it’s as easy and walking through counter service here!

Highly recommend!!!

UPDATE!****
They changed the menu and took away the cauliflower and taco bowls unfortunately. Their beans and rice are still vegan. Now they have soyriso and potato tacos which were kinda dry. Not that filling but not bad. They charge extra for the guac sauce. And I had to ask for a side of rice and beans since it didn’t come with it. It was pretty good and the tacos were $9 so not too bad. But overall I preferred the old option. So this won’t be a first choice for me for a while.

Really nice vegan option

Great soy chorizo tacos with lemon tortilla chips. I recommend taking the extra lemon chips package, it makes for a really satisfying meal for around $15.
The hot sauce was great ! One of the best restaurants of the park 👌

Pros: Soy chorizo tacos , Lemon chips, Hot sauce

Friendly hekpful staff

I love how much more vegan friendly Disney has become. When I say friendly the staff were amazing!

They explained the options, let us know that the dressing contained honey and offered suggestions of extra scoop of salsa and additional limes in our cauliflower salads.

The beans are a little spicy so beware. The food was really good and the staff was great.

Pros: Knowledgeable staff

More possibility other than what's on menu

By far one of the easiest restaurant to order vegan or vegetarian in Disneyland.

A Trio of Cauliflower Tacos is a standard item on the menu. But a variety of items can be customized to be made vegan.

For example. Try the burrito or salad Cauliflower.
Just be aware to specify no dairy

Some of dressings may also contain honey. Food is descent for amusement park food. It's now great to have options customized

Pros: More than what's on the menu, Cauliflower provide healthy alternatives , Located in Disneyland

Not too many options, very spicy

Taco Joe’s is a better choice if you’re craving Mexican food at Disney. My family only had one option of tacos, and every food item was incredibly spicy for them. The rice was good, but I wouldn’t come back.

Pros: Good rice

Cons: Very spicy , Not many choices

Best offer in Disney

It isn’t the best ever but it is the best a Disney which is disappointing for a vegan in general.
It is fresh, fairly healthy and tasty. I recommend the Toscada salad - tortilla bowl filled with beans, rice, salad and they put cauliflower in to replace chicken.

Tasty but quite small

Good for a theme park. Tasted good but not big enough portion for what you pay. Still hit the spot.

Pros: Flavours, Refried beans

Ranch Del Zocalo

I think this may be one of the best value meals for vegans in Disney. The portions are generous, even though there is only one option. Actually, when we went, they were having a special on the taco salad and my friend was able to substitute cauliflower for the meat I think it would be easy to request this with no dairy at all to make it completely vegan.

Pros: Good food, Disney reasonable

Cons: Limited options

Cauliflower Tacos Option

The perfect lunch spot after a long day of hustling around Disneyland. If you're hungry and looking for a heartier meal, Rancho is definitely your best bet.

Aside from Ronto's, this is the other fast-casual spot in Disneyland that offers a substantial plant-based friendly meal for visitors like myself.

I was very satisfied with their Cauliflower Tacos Tray ($15) - three tacos served with all the fixings and topped with salsa verde. The plate also comes with rice and beans, and make sure that your server doesn't accidentally top your beans with cheese. The dish normally doesn't but they may accidentally do so if they aren't careful.

Were they the best tacos I ever had? Definitely not. But for Disneyland food and for the amount you're paying, this place is probably the most worthwhile.

Pros: Larger vegan option at Disneyland

Cons: Limited vegan options

Tasty Tostada Salad

Asked if they could veganize the tostada salad and they were very accommodating. They added seasoned cauliflower and subtracted the meat, sour cream and cheese. Very delicious. They also have cauliflower tacos.

Pros: Tasty tostada salad , Helpful staff

Clearly labeled vegan option. Had the cauliflower tacos with vegetarian rice and beans. Very tasty! Also added a side of chips, salsa and guac. Line was long but it moved quickly. Lots of nice outdoor seating.

Frontierland favorite!! It’s a perfect place to rest and eat yummy food!

I love the cauliflower tacos with beans and rice (just order No cheese)

The Cauliflower tostada is my favorite. (Ask for no cheese or sour cream. Super good!! )

The cinnamon chips are perfect!

We also love to mix the hot chocolate and coffee together for a warm treat at night.

Get in right line

Came buy starving. The pictured item with red plate was from the salad desert line. I got in middle line and only got side of beans, lettuce and rice. 5 bucks.

Has improved.

When we first went inside, ordering and the way they have the menus laid out was very confusing.

The order area is divided into 5 sections, 4 up front and one off to the side. Each one shares some items but the main entries are at different spots. So if you want an enchilada, tacos and a tostada you may have to go to three different stations! You pay when you leave but ordering is not fun. We weren't the only ones - a number of people were wandering around trying to figure out what to do when a man stepped out and in a very marine-like manner barked out what the protocol was. I got to meet him again later behind the counter.

Next there is NOTHING on the menu about substituting veggies for meat. I asked some over-worked guy preparing the food and he said yes you could. When I asked what did you get he rattled off quite a few vegs including bell pepper, zucchini, carrot, and a few others. So I ordered an enchilada, my wife ordered a cheese enchilada, and my daughter tacos. Required two stations but not the end of the world.

They custom made my enchilada and the tacos though I could barley hear the lady making it as she was asking questions. I said give me everything. Asking about the tacos (they sold as a "trio") I asked if they could all be chicken. The answer I got from the guy previously mentioned was vague at best. So I asked again, finally getting them to concede it was ok to leave off beef and pork. He kept trying to insist on a kids menu (thinking my daughter was a kid which she isn't) and I said no, the trio plate! I wanted full size tacos.

My wife's cheese enchilada was a JOKE - pre made and heated in a microwave.
My enchilada was ok EXCEPT it was 2/3 rice, with traces of pepper/zucchini, some carrot and CELERY! Really? I know it's a vegetable but come on! I forgot what the other "major" ingredient was supposed to be but it wasn't there. All were served with rice and beans.
My daughters tacos looked like kids tacos - very small - though she enjoyed them.

So this place might be ok for carnivores but for the rest of us I wouldn't bother.

UPDATE: Went again this year because my daughter liked it and food has improved. Still has confusing ordering system but the food was better.

Great experience

First time in California as a vegan, and I was very surprised everyone knew what vegan means. The lines were very long around lunch time, so I couldn’t read all of the menu. But, of course the salad line was short. All I had to tell them was to make a vegan salad, and they put everything in but meat and dairy. It was a very good taco salad! Although, I think the only vegan dressing was salsa. The salad was also very big and in a large tortilla cup.

Pros: Vegan options , Quick service, Good prices

Cons: Long lines at lunch
