First off, let me say that the ramen noodles were hearty and good! However, I ordered the “vegan ramen” bowl and was disappointed. The single piece of tofu was really small and flavorless. It seemed that majority of the toppings were mushrooms and personally, I’m not that big a fan of mushrooms so that was a con. Overall, I was disappointed after reading such glowing reviews. Perhaps mushroom lovers would disagree but they can write their own review;)

I’d recommend picking up a side order of just the noodles and making your own ramen at home with them! The noodles are delicious! (That’s if you’re down to cook at home lol)

Hey There! Chef Harold from Ramenwell here. Sorry you felt like we skimped on tofu. I actually didn't add a lot of tofu because I found the current flavors to be sufficient and that a lot of Chef's just use tofu as a cop-out to put a vegan dish on their menu.

Best ramen ever - Edit
This is the best vegan ramen I've had. It's got a variety of mushrooms with different textures and flavors, and the broth is addicting. I'll be coming back for more to warm my spirit, especially as the weather gets colder.

Too bad the “happy” cow won’t let me give them 5 stars. I’ve had the best vegan ramen in my life at Ramenwell. Most fully vegan restaurants in San Francisco don’t even get close to the vegan flavors they offer.

Get the mushroom lover ramen and ask for the vegan option! Delicious and flavorful broth! You can also choose between different spice levels.
