Delicious Ramen - Edit
I ordered the vegan ramen, and it was delicious! It had Upton's rage which added some protein and was quite flavorful. There was also a vegan poke bowl which I did not try but seemed like a great option. I would definitely go back! It was a great place to go with non-vegan friends because there were plentiful options for them but also marked vegan options for me.

No vegan options - Edit
Came for the vegan ramen on their menu. We got there as they opened and asked if the V on their menu meant vegan or vegetarian and was told it meant vegetarian. No problem, the ramen specifically says 'vegan' so it's safe. After we ordered, our waiter came back inform us that the vegan ramen is currently made with pork broth. We asked if they had any vegan options and were told no, so we left.

Let's just say that I'm addicted to vegan ramen. So I'm helpless when I see it being offered anywhere, I have to try it.
Read moreI really liked Ramen Takeya's vegan broth, it was nice and tasty. They even top the vegan ramen with Upton's tasty veggie meat (a local brand). But the vegan noodles were not great. In fact, I would recommend Ramen Takeya explore a different noodle option...even rice noodles, just something different.
Great atmosphere, but I'm not excited enough about Ramen Takeya to return. However, if they change those noodles I'll give them another shot. I think their vegan ramen has potential.

My favorite ramen - Edit
Easily my favorite vegan ramen! I’ve gone during the week and weekend, and it’s usually not a wait to be seated. The brussel sprouts are delicious as well.
