This was a crowd pleasing spot for a group of meat eaters, vegetarian, and vegans. There's only one vegan option, clearly labelled on the menu and the machine where you order, and proudly advertised with a poster in the front window.
Read moreIt was a big portion with plenty of noodles. The broth was really tasty, we loved it. However, there were not a lot of toppings, mostly just some bamboo, bean sprouts, and mushrooms. I would love to see them add some tasty tofu or mock meat, a bit more protein would be great. It's a promising start to have one vegan option, but there's definitely room for improvement.
The staff were nice and friendly, and we received our food quite quickly. You order and pay at the machine, give your printed out ticket to the staff, and wait for them to bring your food to your table. The only note the machine accepted was 1000, which was a bit inconvenient for us, but the staff broke a 5000 for us to solve the problem.

If you are vegan but you miss eating authentic tasting ramen, you HAVE to go here. You will not be disappointed! The vegan ramen at this shop is the most authentic and delicious vegan ramen I have ever had! In fact, I would say it's the best ramen (vegan or non-vegan) that I've ever had!
Read moreI got the standard vegan miso ramen and my husband got some extra toppings to go on his (extra green onion, extra noodles). We were both stuffed! It is plenty of food and definitely not good for someone who is trying to lose weight 😆
This was one of our favorite places in Sapporo. Definitely recommend going if you like ramen!
I was also impressed that they had a big poster advertising the vegan ramen on their front door. It's so rare for restaurants to put the information out there for everyone to see. Most restaurants I have been to have the vegan options very well hidden or not even written in the menu at all (like a secret menu). Very refreshing to see this!
Apparently, this shop also has locations in Canada (although the origin is Hokkaido), and the vegan ramen was first developed at one of their Canadian stores and then was brought back to Hokkaido! Kudos to them for creating and serving this delicious vegan ramen in both countries.
