Best ramen I’ve ever eaten - Edit
We tried the tantan ramen, crispy tofu buns and the edamame hummus all of these were excellent but those are the only vegetarian friendly options in the restaurant

Delicious ramen but be careful of vegan options - Edit
I see a lot of people saying that the veggie ramen and the tofu buns are vegan but they are not guys! The bun contains milk and eggs. As for the ramen, you have to swap the noodles to make it vegan. Having said that, it is the best vegan ramen I have ever had.

It’s so delicious! I also loved the ramen broth but not the noodles.

Great ramen, better bao - Edit
The veggie ramen is in fact vegan, so is the bao. The bao is fluffy and the tofu is so crispy and flavoursome. The ramen is spicy, so if you can’t handle that maybe ask for it without the additional chilli oil. It’s delicious. Staff are lovely too

Not many options - Edit
Had to get the gluten free rice noodles to make the vegetable ramen vegan. The broth was quite good but didn’t really feel like ramen with thin rice noodles.

Killer food! Just needs more vegan items - Edit
The vegan ramen was so flavorful! Unfortunately their vegan noodles were the gluten free ones and I can’t say I loved them, reminded me of angel hair pasta. I like a thick noodle in my ramen.
Read moreThe edamame hummus was insanely good! I’d go back just for this, don’t skip on ordering.
Their vegan items are unfortunately slim. Non of their vegetables are vegan friendly nor their buns. They could easily add to their vegan offerings by making small tweaks.
Pros: Edamame hummus is killer
Cons: No veggies that were vegan friendly, Vegan noodles were meh

Plenty of vegan options in this nice restaurant.
Read moreFairly expensive, but nothing crazy for Chicago standards.
I got the edamame hummus, which was phenomenal! Plus the tofu ramen which was great too! My wife got the tofu bun, which was also great!
Really high quality food overall!

Ramen-San - Edit
I had the vegan ramen and it was OK. I don’t like mushroom or bok choy very much and these are the veggies in this dish, so if you like them, you might actually like this dish better than I did.
