Quick, delicious food - Edit
Food was fresh and served very quickly. The restaurant was empty so it was easy to get a seat. Other customers came in to collect take outs.

It was okay - Edit
The ramen is okay. Needed salt and more spice. The gyoza was okay as well. The miso was better than then curry one.

delicious ramen vegan ramen! - Edit
Very small location. You may have to wait a bit to get a seat. We waited 10-15 minutes but it we got a seat by the time our food was ready.
Read moreThey gave 2 vegan options and we tried the one with the sesame broth. It was delicious!!! Lots of tofu in there too so it was nice to be able to get some protein.

C’était presque la fermeture donc nous avons pris à emporter toutes les options vegan de la carte, et tout était vraiment délicieux ! Vraiment un sans faute pour nous 👏🏻

Vegan ramen - Edit
The vegan ramen is really good. I also liked the beetroot gyoza but if you don’t really like beets you should skip it. Very nice people.

Decent vegan tantanmen - Edit
Wish there were more vegan options but the tantanmen was enjoyable, although the tofu was a bit sweeter than I'm used to. Staff is friendly!

Average - Edit
The Ramen tasted good, but I had way better Ramen before. I wanted the Ramen of the month, but they lacked one ingredient so I odered the classic vegan Ramen.

Toxic Masculinity - Edit
Ramen mixed with toxic masculinity. The two men behind the counter were extremely unfriendly, we felt very unwelcome and wouldn't recommend this place.

Great flavor in tantanmen - Edit
The first ramen shop in Reykjavik, and they have 2 vegan ramen options: tantanmen and miso. My partner said that the miso was very bland, and that it tasted like noodles in standard miso soup. But the tantanmen was really good! Not too spicey.

liked but not love - Edit
it was overall very pleasant - the servers were nice and prepared the food quickly, there are two separate vegan ramen options along with vegan gyoza. i got the vegan gyoza and a ramen. however, i didn’t absolutely love the taste of either, though both weren’t bad. i also didn’t love that the employee cooking my food wasn’t wearing gloves even when touching my dumplings with his hands.

Vegan Ramen - Edit
Wish I could give it 5 stars! Really small cosy space, small menu but clear what is vegan. The gyoza were amazing and crispy and the wakame salad was flavourful. We both had the vegan ramen, it was delicious with homemade noodles, perfect for a snowy day.

Not impressed - Edit
Ordered food to takeaway. Got back and realised there was a half a boiled egg on my 'vegan' ramen. Broth was bland but was put off eating most of it because of this error and the potential for the rest of the meal being contaminated. Vegan gyoza were better but not great. Partner who is not vegan said his dish was also bland. Would not recommend this place- for vegans especially.

Meh - Edit
I was initially very excited to try same ramen in Iceland, but I was sorely disappointed with Ramen Momo. The restaurant itself is very cute and cozy and it's in a great location.
Read moreStaff was great and friendly. The handmade noodles were excellent.
We got both the Vegan Tantamen and Vegan. The broth in both were very bland and lacked any robust flavor. Preferred the Vegan over the Vegan Tantamen as the tofu wasn't marinated in Chinese five spice (wish they described that on the menu since I'm not a fan).
Vegan gyoza was good and crispy.
Pros: Vegan options, Friendly staff, Great location
Cons: Bland broth

Best food I had in Reykjavik. Both vegan ramens are super tasty. Sides and drinks are also incredible. Great atmosphere. You are lucky if you come in when the owner is working- he creates a great atmosphere in his restaurant

Best Vegan Tonkotsu - Edit
I wish I could give 5 stars. It was the best Tonkotsu I've ever had. Very creamy and delicious. There are also some nice vegan starters like Gyoza and Kimchi Tatar. Well done!

Sounds better on the menu. Noodles alone were excellent. - Edit
Nice place, great design on products sold in the bar and on the walls. Very small, but quick turnover so we didn't have to wait long at all. Friendly staff too.
Read moreThe noodles are made in-house and really good. We ordered the vegan gyozas (spinach pastry with edamame filling, comes with chilli soy dip) and they were tasty. I got the Vegan Tantamen and it was good, but not incredible. The focus was on the noodles and the broth, so very little of anything else. The broth was sesame-based, and it was tasty, but again, just nothing special. The noodles themselves was what saved it for me, as they were perfect. The Tantamen is topped with marinated tofu, bean sprouts, and bok choy. However, I didn't even notice the bean sprouts due to the tiny quantity. The bok choi was literally one small leaf (baby bok choi possibly). It sounded a lot better on the menu than it was in real life.
Pros: Great noodles, Cool place, Friendly staff
Cons: Very little content in ramen

Solidly Decent Ramen - Edit
Tiny space, great people. The gyōza were fine but nothing special. The Tontamen Vegan was super tasty. Next time I'd spring for extra noodles and shiitake. They offer a discount for takeaway if you bring the container!

Pretty good ramen but tummy issues - Edit
There are two vegan options available. The standard version is, well, standard. The spicy one however is AMAZING! We had one of each but sadly, had both big tummy problems after. Might try again though cause we found it real tasty.

Cute little place with a few decent vegan options - Edit
I had the vegan ramen and seaweed salad. The food wasn't particularly special (the ramen could have been more savoury) but I was craving something soupy and the ramen did the trick. It's a convenient spot for a quick lunch but I wouldn't go out of the way just to eat here again.
