Deeeeelicious!!!! - Edit
This place has one menu for meat eaters and another menu for vegans. So this makes it really easy to order your dishes. I got to say, I had never tasted ramen before until I went here and OMG 😲 all the dishes are absolutely delicious. Every mouthful is so flavoursome!!! I eat slow because I am savouring every taste. I highly recommend this cute spot.

soooooo good! - Edit
By far one of my favourite places in Perth. So many nice vegan options. The truffle ramen is so flavourful and generously served. Good range of sides as well, especially the vegan karaage.

Great ramen, bizarre service - Edit
I absolutely recommend this place the food was great, however the service was weird. When you arrive there are passive aggressive signs out the front. The waiter that greets you will then take you back outside to look at the menus (two tv screens) and when you’re ready you come into the reception and order from the waiter before taking your seat.
Read moreThe food though, was fantastic. There is a whole vegan menu which was good. We had the Tantan ramen and the teriyaki chicken bento. both had a unique flavour.
The tantan ramen was great and had a peanut flavour that I’ve never had in a ramen before. The shiitake mushrooms were the highlight though and were bursting with flavour.

Brilliant food - Edit
I got the vegan bento box with the chicken kaarage and it was so good! Whole vegan menu and I’m sure the ramen is equally good - loved the lychee soda as well. Would 100% go back.

My favourite ramen! - Edit
A whole separate vegan menu with entrees and several ramens! I have loved all the ones I have tried but my favourite is the Curry King. I ordered takeaway ramen twice in a week of iso. I dream about this place...

Super yummy! - Edit
Vegan Japanese food can be very hard to come by! So when I visited Ichiraku, I was very happy to see such an expansive vegan menu. I had the signature vegan shoyu, the Sakura lychee soda, vegan pop corn chicken and my favourite, the vegan cheese burger gyoza! Everything was delish, I was very impressed.
Read moreThe only downsides to this restaurant would probably be the higher end prices and the strange way they make you wait outside until you’re ready to order. On very cold nights and very hot days this would likely be quite uncomfortable for the customer.
Pros: Lots of vegan options , Kind staff , Delicious all round
Cons: Expensive , Strange dine in rules

Mindblowingly good - Edit
Vegan menu is a mirror of the regular menu. The vegan cheeseburger gyozas were exceptional as was the truffly ramen with all the trimmings. Would be my regular if I lived in Perth

Bento box was just ok - Edit
I’ve only tried the bento box and it wasn’t very tasty. It lacked salt, especially the edamame, the corn was tasteless and the vegan chicken was just ok. Maybe the ramen is better?

Super good ramen - Edit
The separate vegan menu replicates the normal one, so you get the same amount of options. We had a shoyu truffle ramen and a tan tan ramen - both bursting with flavour. We also had vegan kaarage chicken and gyoza. Really keen to go back and try the rest of the vegan menu.

Double charged - Edit
They charged us double and spent far too long arguing with us about their mistake, trying to get out of it. We were eventually given our money back but the servers caused a huge scene.

Tasty veg ramen! - Edit
I’ve been to this place a few times because it is (to my knowledge) one of the only Japanese restaurants in Perth with more than one vegan option. Most of the menu can be veganised and they also offer vegan desserts and side dishes like gyoza and “chicken” karaage.
Read moreI’ve ordered the Tokyo Shoyu ramen, the Sapporo miso ramen, and the Sesame Miso maze-men and all three times the dishes have been full of flavour. My personal favourite of the three is the Tokyo Shoyu ramen because it’s simple and delicious. If you want to add more flavour to your ramen though, they also provide a good selection of condiments; sesame seeds, soy sauce, shichimi togarashi (7-spice Japanese chili powder), and fish oil.
They’re quite generous with the toppings and the serving sizes are quite large (then again, I’m a relatively small eater). In terms of value for money, I’d say it’s about the going rate for a bowl of ramen in Perth. I know for sure that there are cheaper places with the same good quality of food, but the places I have in mind are not veg-friendly. In that regard, this place is a godsend.
It’s a medium sized place. I’ve never been during the rush hours for dinner and lunch so I’ve never had any trouble getting a seat. If anyone else has ever dined here during the rush hours, I’d love to know if it’s still relatively easy to get a seat there.
Edit 23/11/18: Visited again today and can confirm that this place is still fantastic!
Pros: Lots of vegan options for a Perth Japanese place, Nice ambience
Cons: Can't think of anything to fault them on
