Good ramen - Edit
Tasty. It’s one of few options in Grand Central Market so I appreciate having this option. I have had tastier ramen at other locations and that’s the only critique I’ll make.

Delightful - Edit
Definitely one of the best ramen i‘ve ever had. The vegan egg is $ 2 extra and small but i recommend trying it.

Top-notch ramen - Edit
Delicious “pork” ramen bowl. Excellent noodles and delicious garlic-y broth. The mushrooms they use here are the best! Personally I’m not totally convinced by the Omnipork luncheon meat but it worked just fine in the dish here. I highly recommend this place when in DTLA. It’s tucked away towards the front of Grand Central Market near the ridiculous line for the donuts. Skip that - this is better!

Unique Veg Ramen - Edit
An all-veg ramen shop with veg eggs and pork? Count me in! We ordered the spicy “pork” katsu garlic ramen with a veg egg, and it was tasty. The ramen itself had a nice balance between spice and flavor. The king oyster mushrooms were my favorite, despite their humble appearance. The veg egg was unique but tasty. The food came out very fast as well.
Read moreThe Grand Central Market was a fun place to visit, and having an all-veg option was nice. It was not the best veg ramen, but it was an excellent lunch.

100 % vegan Ramen - Edit
Super good experience because of the taste and location! Unbelievable delicious and special taste! Located in Grand Central Market LA! You have to eat this ramen! FAQ: Is it possible to add fish, beef or shrimp? - No, we cook 100 % vegan!

Good ramen but definitely overrated - Edit
Had the garlic ramen and it was tasty but there could have been more veggies and the broth was a little bland. My partner ordered the og ramen and they made it (almost) unbearably spicy even though they did not order it spicy.

Okay Food, Great Employees - Edit
The employees were amazing and super nice, the food is overpriced and does not taste good.
Read moreAt least the spicy pork katsu ramen, the mushrooms tastes and smelled like a wet sock, the bean sprouts tasted very old, and the broth itself was not very flavorful, i’d say try if you want to but definitely not worth the price especially because the ramen you’re getting. is not worth the prices they are charging.
Pros: Only vegan options
Cons: Expensive, Not tasty

Reverse Robin Hood. - Edit
I walked out of this joint thinking, I can't afford to support vegan restaurants in LA anymore. Not when my food at home is ten times better for one tenth the price. I did feel robbed, not just of money but of a meal I could have enjoyed somewhere else.
Read moreMeat was unpleasant to me. Salty broth with two baby bok choy and a modest number of mung bean sprouts didn't compensate. I ordered the spicy ramen and it wasn't very spicy, just scalding hot. The extra seasoning on the table was that one gnarly brand of msg powder. Noodles weren't the quality I'm accustomed to.
The location within a food court meant groaning through the smell of hot death and sight of meat-heads doing dirty deeds to tortured animals.
Staff was friendly enough to me, but ignored me until another customer refused to order until they served me first since I'd arrived before them. A little zoned out, I could imagine others interpreting this as rude.

Loved the food. I sat down at the bar and ate, not a typical restaurant but I enjoyed the atmosphere. So far it’s my favorite Ramen in LA.

Cashier was rude. Overpriced - Edit
Cashier was so rude and honestly quite disrespectful. He also has the audacity to charge me extra because they didn’t have any “change”(coins). I was like bro. I was like okay can you cut off the few cents that were over and he said “I don’t know any other way to explain it to you.”(in an arrogant tone.) and then said “I can round it up for you if you want.). Like dude who does that, especially to the customers trying to help you out by going to your establishment. They literally charged me 8 dollars for like 8 tater tots (no I’m not lying.). I’m not the only one one had a bad experience with customer service here either, I read through some of the comments and others mention how rude the staff is.

Best ever - Edit
The spicy garlic ramen is insane. The broth is so flavourful. This definitely takes my number one ramen spot. Just perfect. The noodles are amazing too. They forgot the omni pork in my bowl which I was disappointed about. The ramen was so good I can look past that, though. Cannot wait to come back.

Noodles too soft, sorta weird broth - Edit
First off, the pork was really tasty. The king oyster mushrooms were great too. The rest wasn't so great. The noodles were much softer than even the softest option at most ramen places. The broth was sort of gooey? Really weird. Too many bean sprouts too. Overall not so great an experience.

OMG - this is the best ramen ever - Edit
This little ramen counter in the Grand Central Market is like something out of Blade Runner (which was filmed there). It's owned by a winner of Top Chef (Ilan Hall) and they make a ramen using sunflower seeds and miso. It's incredible. They have gluten free options. Everything is plant based and super delicious.
Read moreThere's some amazing appetizers; a beet based "spicy tuna" and a to-die-for avocado on crispy rice, which is a must have.
I would go there every day if I could. Open at night on Thurs - Sat. Closes around 3 PM the rest of the time.
Pros: Food, Ambiance is great, but it's not a date restaurant.
Cons: Parking

Ok so I haven't actually been to the LA restaurant, but I had a chance to try their food when they had a pop-up in New York City a few years ago! Absolutely amazing, the boiled egg was so realistic!
