Great Ramen - Edit
There’s a fair amount of vegan ramen available in Little Tokyo now, and this one did not disappoint! I love a creamy broth and this one delivered, flavor was fantastic and rich. Noodles were the thin type, I normally prefer thick but you can tell these are homemade and so good. The vegan hand roll was meh (just seaweed salad and mushroom I think?) but the vegan gyoza is SO crispy and delicious. Our waitress was friendly and sweet too. Parking garages nearby. Only a few outdoor tables.

NOT actually vegan - Edit
Their vegan options are falsely advertised as vegan, and they are not accommodating when this is pointed out.
Read moreAs I was ordering one of their vegan ramens (at the Long Beach location), I asked the waiter if any of the ingredients were cooked on the same surface as their meats. The waiter said that anything fried, such as the garlic and the broccolini, are fried on the same surface as their meats. I then asked if they could remove the garlic and substitute the broccolini with steamed veggies instead. The waiter said that it’d be an extra charge of $3 (this is on top of an already expensive ramen dish of $18). I pushed back and explained that I am vegan and cannot eat the broccolini and garlic, and I simply want veggies that have not been cross-contaminated with meats. The waiter said that their manager does not consider this cross-contamination, and considers the dish as is to be fully vegan. We went back and forth like this for several minutes and they would not budge. I left out of frustration.
If you are vegan, vegetarian, halal, kosher… please do NOT eat their “vegan” ramens as advertised since some of their ingredients get cooked alongside their pork, chicken, etc.
Cons: False advertising

Best vegan ramen I’ve ever had! - Edit
All the ramen comes in plant based broth, they have a veganized version of almost every ramen. And it was delicious! We also had the vegan buns and the vegan gyoza. The gyoza was sooo good!! Very good service and a kind server who was also vegan!

Very good food, I enjoyed every bite. But bringing us the check when we eat kill the vibe. It didn't even make sens considering there was still room in the restaurant...

This place rocks - Edit
Was reccomended here by a Japanese friend who lives in the area. The creamy vegan ramen I had was SUPER tasty and I didn’t even eat in the restaurant. We had ordered through Doordash and I’m so satisfied. VERY DELICIOUS RAMEN! The broth goes crazy, noodles were slurpy and smooth. I barely remember any more details because I slurped it all down so fast and guzzled the broth.

Amazing Japanese Food - Edit
This was some of the best ramen/Japanese food places I've had in a while. I literally kept saying how delicious it was and how sad that it's so far away from where I live. I will 1000% be going back next time I visit LA! ❤ The Buns are to die for!

Came here today with my husband (both vegan) and two close friends (non-veg). My husband and I had the vegan buns and gyoza. I had the vegan quartz ramen and he had the vegan spicy garnet ramen.
Read moreIt was incredibly delicious! The buns were our fave, but everything we had was amazing. Our friends had non-veg stuff and they liked what they had as well.
Pros: Good service , Vegan options are enough and tasty
Cons: DTLA parking, so that sucks, It’s small so at busy times, it can get slammed

Best Ramen Ever 😍 - Edit
I was a little worried because they only had 2 vegan ramen options (I think others could be made vegan with substitutes) but I went with the last one which was marked vegan and GF on the menu and WOW! It was seriously amazing! I did get regular noodles because I’m not a fan of GF pasta usually. I wish they would add more vegan options but I’m sure all of the ones they do have would be just as good as the one I got!!

Best vegan ramen in LA - Edit
There are a few spots where you can get vegan ramen nowadays, but by far, i think Rakkan is the best. Not only do they have multiple ramen offerings for vegans, but they also offer vegan sides like gyoza and rice bowls while providing detailed information on their ingredients. The ramen itself is delicious and rich in flavor and the tofu avocado bowl is refreshing and tasty (bonus if you can get them to give you chili oil to go with it, it used to come as a topping, but now you have to ask for it... it really completes the dish.) All this is really appreciated coming from a small place that mainly serves omnivores. Keep in mind, seating is limited as it is a small space (which gives it a cosy vibe), so its probably best to come for lunch or during weekday dinner. Service is also fast and friendly.

The veganizable and purely vegan options are clearly labeled on the menu, and there's a good amount of variety. It's a small space and there was a wait, but it was worth it. Had the garnet ramen, vegan bun, and vegan gyoza. Great flavors and nice service.

Multiple vegan ramen options!! - Edit
My dinner companions and I all loved this place. There was a bit of a wait on a Saturday evening, but it was worth it. It's so nice having several choices for vegan ramen, since most places only have one. I really liked the Pearl, and my dinner companions said the Garnet was good too. Lots of food and very satisfying! There are a bunch of other vegan options on the menu too.

Nice vegan options - Edit
A majority of their ramen can be made vegan, which is a win for me. I’ve been to several vegan ramen spots and this one has some amazing broth, at least for the one I tried (Spicy Garnet). The prices are reasonable and service was great, I’d come back to try their other dishes if I’m ever in the area. Great place to dine at if you have omnivore friends!
