Two vegan main dishes, plant-based coffee options - Edit
Two vegan main dishes, when I was there. I had a lentil soup that was tasty. One of the coffee machines runs on milk (hence it is not an entirely vegan place), the other one on plant milk. Very friendly and helpful staff. Cafeteria principle, pay at the counter. Not expensive for Zurich standards.

There’s better vegan food in Zurich - Edit
Not happy with this place. It’s located on campus at Universitat Zurich. There are three prices listed, I believe: lowest price for students, middle for staff, and highest for members of the public. There is a menu that changes daily. They also do not accept credit cards that don’t have contact card capability.

I’m someone who likes sweet meals sometimes, but this was a sugary mess. It was almost inedible to me. I couldn’t believe so many people were eating it as if there wasn’t anything wrong with it. And there was no protein to speak of. It was just vegetables, pineapple, and jasmine rice with a sweet and sour sauce. We had planned to return for breakfast the next day before leaving Zurich, but after our first and last meal there, decided against it.

Affordable prices in Zurich - Edit
The canteen at University Zurich UZH which serves almost entirely vegan food with daily changing menu. The prices are very cheap for Zurich and if you're a student there you can also get another 10% discount. Check before as it's only open during term times.

Cheap and versatile - Edit
I eat at Raemi 59 regularly and never had a bad meal there. They have two daily changing options, both of them vegan. One is a more traditional choice the other brings a more international vibe. Very versatile and creative food. It is open to the general public and thus a good option for a cheap vegan meal.

Best Vegan Restaurant in Town - Edit
The menu is always very thought-through and features a lot of dishes from all over the world (Asian, African etc.). Rämi 59 is a canteen and not a restaurant, but the atmosphere is very homely; it feels more like a restaurant. This is the best vegan food you can get for this price!

My go to a place for a high quality, cruelty free, affordable meal. Always very flavoursome and interesting items on the menu. Just note the kitchen stops serving warm food after 2pm

Rämi 58 offers two vegan menus every weekday, usually with a gluten free option. The meals are high quality and quite cheap for what you get. They also offer some salads and sandwiches, as well as coffee with soy milk.
