Cute place & friendly staff! The orange ginger carrot soup was tasty- didn’t quite taste all the flavors in the soup but it was still good. Make sure to ask for the bread without butter. It didn’t list it as coming with butter but after reading a previous post it seems like all ingredients may not always be listed. The apple cake was delicious!

Nice Bistro in the city. There are few vegan options. Prices are fair (for Norway’s standards) portions are a bit small tho, so don’t expect to get very full afterwards. We tried the pizza and carrot soup, quite tasty, and the apple tart, also quite nice.

Disappointing vegan - Edit
Råvarene was an attractive restaurant for us because of the vegan options. The carrot soup was nice, but the vegan spaghetti bolognese was very disappointing: spaghetti with no more than a tasteless tomato sauce. Why not add for instance some vegan cheese or marinated tofu? That would have made this dish a lot tastier! I wonder if the owners of this restaurant are really interested in vegan.
