So happy to find a fully vegan joint so close to my work!! I had the Crazy Jamaican burger, but I'm looking forward to trying other stuff on the menu. Atmosphere is laid-back and homey, with reggae music, old posters, and kitchen sounds. Food came pretty quickly, but it took a little while to get another beer and the check and stuff.

Awesome If You're Not In A Rush - Edit
Fantastic food, no matter what you choose, you can't make a bad choice. Their Mac n' Yease is out of this world... order two. Ha! Their wraps are great too and you get a pretty good sized portion. The only bad thing I'd ever say about them is their service is extremely slow. I go here when I want to take my time and slow my day down. Don't let the area or exterior deter you. The good Rastafari vibes cover this place inside wall to wall. literally.

I love this place. The crazy Jamaican burger and the Jamaican TLT are amazing. The menu is extensive and I’ll be back every week to try something new. Good vibes and delicious food are hard to find, but this place has it all. Highly recommend trying it...again and again

For a place with such great food, it's surprising they don't invest in more waitstaff and cooks. Every time I have been here, I've waited ages to be served, loved the delicious food, and wondered why it is so understaffed.
Read moreOne waitress for an entire room of Friday lunchers? Forgetting our drink but being too busy to ever get it, so just scratching it off the bill and saying "we won't charge you for that" ... she was friendly (unlike most of the staff here), but it was really poor service. Not her fault, though. Management needs to hire more, better trained staff. Also not the place to go for quiet meal. Loud regaae music. It's a funky kind of place where they give you a half full cup of water, no ice, and then leave you for a looong time.
Now the good. It is well worth a wait for the delicious, down home type cooking. Its almost southern, but maybe it's Jamaican? They have generous portions and a good variety. Flavorful. I love their not-meats. The smokey, hearty, almost greasy! breakfast smoked tofu.. mmm SO good. Hits the spot on the dot for hangover head. They give a choice of tofu, tempeh, seitan. All great.

Where's plum bistro helping out there chain Resturant??? AMAZONG FOOD, amazing atmosphere..it's all good. But you get more than 6 people in there and they are too packed. It might just take them hours to get your food out..I don't blame them

Food was 5 stars my friend and I split the smokey mushroom melt sandwich and the crazy Jamaican burger! I preferred the sammie and she preffered the burger, defiantly the burger was a more interesting flavor not something you can get just anywhere. They know how to cook their seitan! Great atmosphere. Prices are kinda steep but pretty normal for a vegan place. Eat here you won't regret it. Also the salad and fries were both A too!!!

Sometimes the server can be very pleasant, other times it’s the total opposite unfortunately. The food is delicious nonetheless & I will continue to return because it’s one of the few veg gems in the Tacoma area.

We are extremely happy we found Quickie Too! Everything on their menu has been delicious and we should know, were there at least once a week. Mac-n-Yeaze, Hush Puppies and the Fremont Philly are my favorites. Their smoked Tofu is awesome!!

Food was good, but they write in there own tips. My $4 tip became a $40 tip when it hit my account. The owner was EXTREMELY rude when trying to deal with this, lied and then hung up on me. There food was not worth the hassle.

Great place, super awesome menu. Clean place and great service, super friendly. Took the family here for lunch and not everyone is vegan in my family but everybody loved the food. They said they would totally come back here again. It was a great experience for all.

This is one of my favorite vegan sources in Tacoma. The food is consistently yummy, service is friendly, and the menu lets you sample lots of things in one meal. Kind of a diner atmosphere, with reggae posters and a counter. Quickie Too is also a good option for homestyle brunch on Sundays. The omnivorous friend who went with me absolutely loved the pancakes. The restaurant also has a nice mom-and-pop feel that lets you know you're supporting a community business. Highly recommended.

We have been trying to stop here for the last 3 years but it has never worked out. Finally stopped by today, it was well worth the wait. The service was great and the food was even better. We did the Shakes Strawberry & Coconut/Banana. We both did burgers Jamaican Burger and the Big Burger which were excellent.

I've been a vegetarian for many years and eaten in vegetarian restaurants all across America and Europe (I travel for work). And my two favorite places are this one and Cornucopia in Dublin. I can't decide which one I like better, but it very well could be Quickie Too. I've been here 15-20 times and I always look forward to the next time I can come. The variety of amazing food is truly astonishing.

My husband and I both had the "Signature Plate" on a Sunday morning. We enjoyed every bite; smoked tofu, tempeh, roasted potatoes, tofu scramble, biscuit, polenta with gravy, blueberry muffin. Incredible! We were in Tacoma to drop our daughter at the train station. It's a rare occasion to be in Pierce County. We looked at the Happy Cow app, this place was nearest. What a fantastic surprise. A delicious, hearty meal, casual atmosphere, great jazz playing in the background. Our daughter had the waffles and she loved them! Would certainly come here again.

I am local to the area and for some reason hadn't been until now. I regret not finding this restaurant sooner!!! I enjoyed the "Southern Comfort" supper and inhaled the Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and collard greens. The tofu steak was good but I should have gone with a tempeh or seitan. The Mac and cheese is the best vegan Mac I've ever had NO DOUBT. Like other reviews have noted service was a little slow but they are friendly and the food is well worth any waiting.

We were driving back to Seattle, and used our Happy Cow app to find a place in Tacoma to get a quick bite. What a delightful lunch we had at Quickie Too. I had the Jamaican style Tempeh, lettuce, and tomato sandwich. My husband had the Reuben. Both were spot on delicious! Thank you Happy Cow for the tip!

I attempted to call ahead to see if there was a wait and I couldn't get an answer at the restaurant. I called five times and not once was the phone picked up. When we walked in the place was near empty and we weren't even greeted by staff. We decided we would still give it a try but when we got the brunch menu it was different from what was online. We left and went down the street to a cafe instead. I don't care if it's the best vegan restaurant in town, I'm not going to dine somewhere the that poor of service.

The food here is so delicious, but prepare for either leftovers, or a very heavy stomach! They are a bit pricy, but the portions are huge. I wouldn't call it "junk food", but it is very heavy. Service is a bit slow, so give yourself some time. So worth it though!

Stopped off for lunch today on the way back from Bellingham. We had stopped by yesterday but they close Tuesdays. So glad we made the effort. I had the Smokey Mushroom Melt and Ann had the Seitan Quesadilla. They were both out of this world. If you are anywhere within 50 mile of Tacoma GO THERE!!! The service was so friendly and helpful. We shall be going there again, not soon enough though. Thank you Quickie.
